Birmingham fan here...Fair play reading fans for sticking up for your club....Keep on protesting and the owner will finally get the message...We were in the same situation with owners with no football knowledge and dragging us down....Dont give in.

In all fairness though, we got lucky because BIHL ran out of money and got into legal problems. Wagner bought us by essentially offering a loan to keep the club running... They had to accept because otherwise, they would lose everything. Wagner gets the rest of the shares if the club can't pay the loan back within a couple of years (which is pretty much impossible).

Can you blame them ? , not a reading fan but there club has been treated like dirt and run into the ground I remember them in the prem let alone where they are now the efl are a joke theses dogey owners shouldn't have ever been allowed to take control of a club it's always the fans that suffer with point deductions etc .There comes a tipping point and fairplay to reading at least they got bit of passion and a pair of balls to take action for there club hope things get better for them no club deserves to be run by crooks and clowns

Reading fan here, who was on the pitch for most of the protest until it got abandoned. We were singing "We want Dai Yongge OUt" "Sell the club and fuck off home" the Port Vale fans were absolute class, genuinely amazing, a credit to their club, they joined in with the "Fuck the EFL" chants and even sang "You greedy bastards, get out of their club" it genuinely made me emotional to see the support for OUR beloved club. Football is nothing without the fans. We will never Die, we won't let one man kill OUR club and the 153 years of history alongside it. Reading til I die 😢💙🤍

I'm all for fans protesting and showing their anger towards an owner for the poor way their football club is run, but this is completely going about it the wrong way. All this will do is lead to stadium bans and almost definitely further punishment and possible fines to the club. Who benefits from these actions? By all means protest outside the stadium before or maybe even after the match, but you can't invade the pitch during the game and cause all this disruption. I think the least Reading can do is officially apologise to Vale and their fans who travelled to watch and support their team. As a Pompey fan I'd be embarrassed if I saw this at Fratton Park. Totally unnecessary.

As a Birmingham fan who has been though the misery of awful Chinese owners who hide on the other side of the planet and run the club into the ground, I disagree with you there. The EFL and the owners couldn't care less what the fans think so it's the only way to make their views heard. We got lucky in that our owners ran out of money and got into legal troubles which allowed our new owners to screw them into the ground and force a sale. Had they found another dodgy way to bring in money, it would have just carried on indefinitely.
@yourma20004 ай бұрын
Reading aren't going to mass ban thousands of their supporters, if they did they would lose a lot of revenue and only anger the fans further.
@stephen3784 ай бұрын
Well done Reading fans 👏 your team will be playing behind closed doors now,meaning less revenue and an even worse state with the owners,protest outside,southerners for ya 😂

Let me guess you support Man United from your armchair? You have no idea the peril we are in and why this was done, we are literally the 5th oldest club in English football and currently on life support due to an owner I wouldn't wish on any club including our rivals, even the Port Vale fans chanted for our club and understood why this had to be done and were in support of it, some of the best fans I've ever witnessed to come to our stadium. It shows that football is a family and without fans and historic clubs football is nothing! Reading til I die 🔵⚪

Do you know Reading fans have been disgusting when it’s been other clubs in the same situation like Pay up Pompey Pompey Pay up and waving pound notes and saying we hope you get liquidated, Pompey fans never invaded the pitch or abandoned games so why should Reading fans?
@gavintsang57784 ай бұрын
@@JRS-Royal1871 that is no excuse for Reading fans to invade the pitch and cause trouble. How about the respect and safety of others like the players who prepared for nothing, the Port Vale fans who travelled for nothing and other staff who gave up their free Saturday to get the match done and complete???
