The Kissing Booth is based off a Wattpad novel 😂😂 no real surprise that it's problematic

Shelby Bowman now that makes me sadder now. The kissing booth starts of good, but you get to the middle of the movie it's so problematic with main love interests because they manipulating each other. The girl won't tell her best friend that she dating his older brother right away and the older bother got super overprotective over her new body when he's at school or goes on a date with a guy he doesn't like at all or when he pushes a guy out the when gut trees to kiss her and he kissed her after she tried to manipulate him into working at hers and his little brother kissing booth at their highschool Carnival. She also goes behind her best friend and sleeps with his older brother. The ending was good way to end with older bother going to college, but we can't forget the problematic middle of the movie.

So I read the first 3 books of stormlight archive in quick succession recently and I highly recommend binging them! I know it's a lot of pages, but I started to get so lost in the world after a while that it didn't even matter anymore. And then when I got to Oathbringer it was that much more fantastic because I was fresh on all the lore and characters from the first two books. The downside to this is that it was such a great experience that I'm kinda in a reading slump now... *Sigh*

Don't worry about reading the book slowly! The whole point of reading is to learn and enjoy and get lost in the story, only recently has it become a race! So don't stress about it :)

You should watch Set It Up. It's a new netflix rom com too, and it was so cute! it's about two corporate executive assistants who try to set up their bosses so that they could have some free time.

The Way of Kings only gets better and better! I'm so excited for you to get even more invested in the characters and world!! The series has easily become my favourite fantasy series and even though the books take years to come out I'm excited to grow with it~ LOVE!!

I'm so excited to see you finally reading Way of Kings!! The beginning can be a bit overwhelming like you said, but I feel like Brandon Sanderson never lets his readers get lost in the complexity of his worlds. As you read on, the world that the book takes place in begins to be more and more clear and you completely fall in love with it! storiesofwonderland / READ IT! Just go for it! I was hesitant to start it as well. I felt like it was long and I hadn't really read high fantasy before but it blew my mind with how much I enjoyed it

The Way of Kings is so high up on my TBR but two problems that make me hold back: 1. ITS HUGEEEE so there's that 2. Each book takes like 2 years to come out and I hateeeee waiting for next books in series's so the fact that there's like 15 years left of waiting for books makes me WORRY 😭😭

I would say do it anyway. The books can be reread a lot of times and the world is already big enough to get really lost in it.

Read ‘The Mistborn trilogy’ series....I believe that is set before this whole series...it is a YA series so it’s a bit shorter and easier to follow (if ya don’t mind YAs)

The Way of Kings is well worth the effort. The world builds slowly and the plot also moves a bit more slowly than a typical fantasy but the pay off is huge.

I loved Save the Date! I agree that it was a great mixture of a happy, funny read and some serious character depth towards the end - I just loved the whole moral of the story. I don’t know when I will ever get to Brandon Sanderson but SOMEDAY, lol

I'm so glad that the UK versions are split in half so there's two books for The Way of Kings each around 500 pages. It makes much less intimidating.
