I can see the fight for water, with those small watering tubes on the ground between the plants! And visiting the small Bothanical Garden close to Mellieha, I saw how soil had become eroded and advised the Authorities eventually to make a contact to Denmark, as we know much about replantation and the use of formerly lost areas. A large part of Denmark and the Westcoast had a deadly cover of fine sand and also areas with heath have been made useable again during Centuries for new agriculture! So much that we now try to preserve what is left 😄! We have a very large sand-dune area, which has been allowed to wander and will reach the East Coast of Jutland, and the water on the other side during some years, even if it will cover roads by that! Finn. Denmark

Thank you for this. I was wondering only recently if Malta had a large outdoor concert venue. It looks beautiful and very well kept with a good variety of plants and trees.

Steve, this video is fantastic, an amazing area, well worth the budget it cost and to see the end result. Its a long while since I've been up that area, it looks so different now and a fantastic concert venue! Hope the parking area is adequate when it fully opens, I guess it will be mega popular! Well done to all involved in making such an excellent area. it's truly beautiful and there for the whole island to enjoy!

WOW 😲 WHAT A WORLD CLASS CONCERT VENUE 🎶🎸. That place looks great and worth the money - well done MALTA 👏. I suppose temporary seating, if required, can easily be installed. Steve, those "towers" would be 'concert lighting and sound towers'. Let's hope "entry fees" are kept low. That is a money making machine it is run by idiots for idiots, regarding thickets that is another thing the last concert were an idiot was shouting his head of they call it singing thickets range from 100 Euro to 300 Euro and there were 35,000 idiots!!!!!!

That area is unrecognisable from the 80's and 90's when I used to visit Malta regularly. It's even changed a lot from 7 years ago when I was last there.I always looked forwards to going to the craft village. Lots to see there! Thanks for uploading English man.
