Ready, Set, Crash! Watch a Fokker F-28 Aircraft Crash Test at NASA

5 жыл бұрынOur researchers dropped a Fokker F-28 transport aircraft at our Landing and Impact Research Facility. Inside the bird were 24 crash test dummies and dozens of cameras. The test hopes to collect passenger response data, help the FAA understand the likelihood of injury during a crash and improve aircraft crash safety.

What is the purpose of the dot pattern? The Cessna 182 straight fin ELT crash test aircraft also has the same paint scheme.
