i personnaly think it won't last for ever, if you have to make your decision right now because you would be enrolling in the spring it might not be long enough to stabilize everywhere in the world. but if you have more time wait and see.

microsoft is the publisher and their name is on it, but they are not the developers. it's Asobo Studio who actually work on it. they're a french studio of about 200 people (according to wikipedia) which isn't that big of a team for how much work a fully realised sim is. I think 3rd party Add ons have always been part of the sim community and it's not wrong for MSFS to rely on it in some part. in older versions you'd be buying cities as 3rd party DLC. The only issue I have is that it's not the only job the studio is working on now and they dont care about filling in the whole globe (it would be allot of work), they are only adding locations based on popularity pols. So you can fly in dubai but you can't fly over africa with any amount of accuracy. I think it's perfect as it is for any amateur, the VR works pretty well now and you really feel immersed and the environment detail and cinematic feel is unmatched (*in the popular areas) the few people who really take simming seriously as a hobby and build a whole rig for it are usually ready to go find the perfect addons for themselves and pay for them (the whole PC setup + controllers + chair rig isn't cheap at all) so Xplane has had way more time to get all those addons and is probably still better for them despite being older. TLDR: I think it's fine

I’ve gor frustrated when my Aplha and Bravo controls started to show some symptoms of incompatibility or instability..In addition to that several add-on software created porblems which made me to spend a serious time to find solutions for it. Anyway, I am sure this game will get better in a few years. Till that time, I will be relying on Xplane and FSX to satisfy my ambition of flying. Have a great day. And keep safe.🙏🏻

you could catch up on your physics and apply to a training school. I can't really give solid suggestions because only you are in your situation.

What matters to you at this stagenis getting into flight school so you need to prepare adequately with mainly Math and Physics, I have made a 3 part video series called "How to Become an Airline Pilot" you should watch these and follow the websites I link there or make research to prepare for flight school selection if applicable to the one you are interested in

to make sure the thrustmaster gear was working properly and to figure out the button mapping I did do some practice before filming 🤫

@@FlyJV I would recommend using the buttkicker gamer 2 if you can , puts the immersion on another level with cockpit vibrations like the real deal you just need a normal desk chair to attach it too.
