Theoretically correct. But from 2019 to 2024 (5 years) gold price (24 k) has doubled (i.e 1095$/ oz to 2232$/ oz) So average rate of growth of gold per year is 14.4% . This has happened when US interest rate has increased from 0.5% to 5.5%. This does not support the correlation of gold price will decrease when interest rate is high and vice versa. Pls correct me if I am wrong

Gold only easy to handle/ pledge/ sell / hide. So it will not come down. It is natural resouce. Scarcity prevails higher in the case of gold. Gold is a commodity of exchangeable world wise.

I donot think this is applicable for India , in India already interest is higher , gold rate also higher , this logic might be more applicable to US not for India? in the current situation in India , I donot see any correlation between interest rate and gold rate , both are higher now. Sir, as quite disappointed your statement which over all history repeat the gold rates are movie with doller corelation in last 10 years. So whenever dxy falling/moving up then gold moves high/down....when dxy become strong gold will fall upto 100$ stricks..but situation says dxy will be in down falling wedge untill US election end up...

Sir it's confusing .The interest rate you are taking is Fixed deposit interest i think so if that increases people tend to invest in Bank instead of Gold but US govt increasing the interest rate for lending not for Fixed deposit i think .

Interest rates increase means, it indicates loan, FD and bond interest rates. If interest rate reduces, then gold price will increase

Getting jewel loan and buying a new gold is a okay idea only. Because you will get only 60℅ of the market value of gold you already have while pledging for a loan. And buying new gold you have to pay extra charges like wastage making charges and GST will cost you minimum 13 ℅ and your interest rate for gold loan is roughly @bove 7℅ in the market. So you have to wait for a longer time to get gains out of it
