Sir, I am holding Deepak Nitrite 635 shares @ 1275 My journey with this company started when it was trading at 592 rupees and kept on adding this gem whenever I had spare money. I beg to differ your statement that long term investment is an illusion as i could see lot of stalwarts in the stock market who have made money only thru long term investment.

Sir with all due respect to you, Please check your facts before uploading the video. CAGR you showed for the nifty is incorrect. It is not about 9%. Nifty gave returns approx. 12-13%. That too not including dividends. If you consider by investing in the same nifty50 stocks you would have get more returns with dividend. This video will mislead the new investors who are coming into stock market for long term. Kindly correct the facts and reupload.

Difficult to get 50 person per month... He is telling some fact...you should be lucky to hold good quality stock for long..which is possible but less. Same way most people lose money in options. Probably loss is higher in options because it is highly technical and probability. Not everyone suited for option. But as the risks are higher rewards are high too. He come forward to share his point...

10 company la invest panna 2 or 3 apdi pogum. But adhukku mela pona namma portfolio la problem. Apdiye ponalum remaining stocks will compensate the loss. Dividends are extra. For example, Nifty 50 la irukka all companies oda share price 2012 vs 2022 compare panni paarunga, then you will realise. Few are exceptions. Karuppan kusumbu kaaran nu solra mari, Namma thala Tamil training ku all pudikka plan panrar. Don't take his words blindly because he is not good in long term value investing and analysing the fundamental of a company. Yes everyone says Infosys Wipro mrf eicher because they gave extreme returns in the past. Which doesn't mean they are the only companies giving returns and other companies are with zero returns. His greed for earning money from training leads him to speak like this

Mutual fund has given very good return. MF also gone through all three types of market you have mentioned. At the end, long term investor really benefits. It has good track record in the money control website. Everyone can't be winners in the daily trading, one has to loose money for others to win. While I respect your views, but it is misleading long term investor.

While calculating you put 9% as the interest rate. It shows 243 dollars right. But the money should grow to 350. So, the interest is nearly 13% annually. This is one of the useless talks to promote your trading workshop

Hello Mr. PR. Sundar Sir..With all due respect to you..I will Prove your statement is wrong!! Meanwhile I'm just a beginner & 10 months old to share market and believe strongly in Long term Investment!! Also, you always talk about the past for proof.. please look Warren Buffet, Rakesh Junjunwala as reference for long term investment. The only problem why most of us are losing money in stock market as you said ( 99 percentage people ) just that because nobody wants to get rich slow :)

@@osho817 His calculations are wrong here. Dont be misleaded. Let me explain. At 5:02 He shows the 10year return for nift and it is around 250%. So if you invest 100, the value is increased by 250 and the Total value will be 100+250 = 350. But at 6:03 he calculates compound interest with 9% value, and the result he got is only 243 rupees. But The percentage should be found for the value 350, which will be achieved if the interest rate is 13% (which is very decent) So, Nifty over the past 10years has given 13% per year returns and not 9%. So just trust the process and invest for long term and don't fear for these kind of videos.

Buy and hold strategy is propagated as a true long-term investing. It actually is leaving your capital in the markets for a long years and keep churning your portfolio depending on stock price behaviors. That's how many mutual funds have delivered 200x in 26 years and 100x in 25 years, example Nippon India Growth Fund delivered 200x returns in 26 years, and Franklin India Prima Fund delivered 147 times returns in 28 years.

I think this is misleading. There are many MFs and equity investors who made more money in long term. You are a trader but not every one can leave their job and do trading. This seems like a workshop marketing idea. Sad to see this. Options selling needing many lakhs as capital. Not every one can build strategies with monthly savings.

Investment has a lot of benefits compared with trading . It's not only capital appreciation there are stocks that just give a 7% dividend alone per annum . Advertising your workshop can be done but not this way of indulging the wrong path to retailers .I would like you to have a conversation with Anand Srinivasan from Money pechu channel as a video to prove that investment is wrong . When you want to sell your technical course you agree that technical work but in your earlier days (until before 1yr) you said technicals are bullshit .

From his first investment to till Berkshire Hathaway he was doing only investing. I m not critizise option traders but Mr PRS perspective of investment is wrong.

I agree with some points but longterm investing always pay wise IOC gave around 2 stocksplits and 2 bonus within 5 years which in term your money would have quadrapled in 4 years. Even simple index funds like US funds would have generated 16% CAGR accounting for dollar INR averaging out. Funds like midcap and smallcap outperfomed nifty and they underperformed during covid also but taking risk will always pays off . We need patience and let it accumulate so that we can enjoy benifits. I totally disagree with this point.

Trading is different and investing is different everything needs patience and we need to give time for compounding in trading knowledge and investments. Moreover in earlier days finding a broker for investment seems difficult but it's easy today and many are started in this era.

Very true that promoter is unaware of medium term trends in his company . Recent example is Vedanta. Promoter made an offer delist shares from in May 2020 at 87.50. This offer failed by a whisker. In April 2021 he offered to buy 17.5% shares at 235. Note the difference in bid prices. The dividend of Rs 54 given after failed delisting .

Value investing is not your topic... You need not lecture on it. If people want to know about investing they will listen to Mohnish Pabrai, Damamis, Rakesh, Ramdeo Agarwal, Vijay Kedia, etc., They are sitting on a bigger chair than you.. so pls stay within your circle of competence and don't degrade and mislead others (like longterm investing is not good), please. BTW check your calculation as @Nandakumar mentioned it takes 13% to goto 350 from 100 in 10 years.

You invest a portion of your earnings (10%) in good assets for a long term and I'm sure you will be richer than 90%of your colleagues after 30 years... Now, I'm not advising any stock or index (it's selection and adjustment is your skill) the question of market uncertainty, we need to develop this mindset...would u sell your apartment (not your home) in times of market uncertainty, you will have confidence to hold it till the market normalizes..Yes, it is tough but that's the most sustainable way forward. Even you choose trading, you can save a % of your earnings and invest long term and see the magic. ( it could a stock, mutual fund, index fund ).

Sir, 250% is the interest so total amount will be 350. Initial investment = 100, Final value = 350 for 10 years, the CAGR will be 12.73%, Since 250 was used as final amount in your calculator its showing 9%. Actual return of NIFTY is 12.73% compounding and not 9%.
