Okay, as much as we all dislike Raid Shadow Legends for sponsoring every video under the sun and being a pretty shitty game, can we at least appreciate that pallarium pays out so many thousands of moneys for each of the sponsorships, that they probably support as much of an economy as old school runescape.
@shawnwolf5961

@TheCCPfearsANZ Thats your opinion. I play the game, and quite enjoy it. There's a lot of strategy/grind needed to get just the right gear to deal with just the right situation, AND it is more than doable to progress in the game without pay (I know because I have done so). Yeah it has the trimmings of any mobile Gotcha, but at least with *this* game, I can stay a free to play player, and do just fine. People only shit on Raid because it's a meme thing to do. Most, I suspect like you, have never even touched the game

Actually I like the Raid most of all mobile games so far and I tried a lot, but its more of a resource management and puzzle game not a RPG. You get champs then need to decide which one to build and find a team with synergy to beat the content. And I like that.
@Santisima_Trinidad
@Santisima_Trinidad 2 жыл бұрын
@@frankindabank there is some of that. And i did enjoy raid for a while when i played it. But whenever i logged on it took.5 minutes to get through all the microtransaction popups, and by then my phone was already burning hot, both of which are terrible. Both warhammer 40K, lost crusade, and the brillant Darkness survival, were way more fun to play, and had way better longevity of play. Darkness survival is a rougelike, so thats a bit of an advantage, but even so it's a million times better than Raid.

There are a lot of critics that really just don’t know what they are talking about. Yes swords chip. It’s just what it is. And yes. Tatami mats are always pegged. How realistic would it be that a samurais arm would be floating through the air without being anchored to the body. Some people just say stupid stuff so they sound like they know what they are talking about. Your testing was very robust and very cool. And as a viewer, I appreciate your humility. I’ve made heavy hand forged blades for brutal work and tested them in similar fashion on heavy pig bones. I can verify that the the swords functioned as they should, and the damage to the edges is normal under such abuse (dry bone is really hard). I can also testify that the price is insanely low for such blades. The wet mat cuts were extremely impressive. Somebody needs to send Jeorg a big salami.
@antonakesson
@antonakesson 2 жыл бұрын
I looked up the site and the price already hit me as being a bit on the cheaper side, doesn't neccerly reflect the quality mind you, but then I saw the material and got really worried. Stainless steel swords. Had to think for a second on what Skall and the others have said regarding it. Skall has said some stainless steels can be decent but this type of steel was not one that he mentioned. Searching up the steel quality and I am constantly met with "low end steel" and "soft steel". Some call it decent knife steel while many others call it budget knife steel. The biggest offender is the soft part. I read that this steel is pretty bad for edge retention. So I am a bit on the fence here. It could be that it is the heat treatment that saves these swords but I don't know. I would have to see some more professional testings on these swords to be convinced. Looks pretty good from this video but as I said the type of steel has me worried.

Very nice test of some very nice swords! As for the cameras - stuff happens. Aside from better aiming the main camera :) it would be great if you could put a second camera on more of a close up too. And I don't think you need anything overly fancy - cell phone cameras are amazingly good these days. Just get a holder for your phone that will clamp onto a camera tripod. Having the two angles at the same time could be edited into some good playback/reviews. And if you aren't comfortable doing the editing there are many people online that specialize in editing for KZfaqrs; you don't have to do it all. I really enjoy your content - and laugh! Please keep them coming!

Bone is one of the most abusive materials that a blade could come in contact with. Especially "cured" bone. Not so much because of it's hardness, or durability; but because of how it breaks as it's hacked and cut. It simply refuses to cut or break in a line. It always breaks in arcs. Which is very similar to ice or glass. So, at the moment of impact, bone actually tries to turn the edge to either side, as it gives way. And, the deeper you cut, the more opportunities there are for this effect to occur; worst case being the edge attempting to turn in alternating directions, as it bites deeper. As hard as you're swinging that sword, I'm surprised it held up so well. The smiths did a fine job making that sword!

22:47 Joerg, that was so dangerous oh my god hahaha you should practice your forehand swings with the foreleg forward and left hand behind the back or to your chest to avoid accidents, even though you have a lot of experience with blades. Be safe man, love from Brazil!

In Hollywood they used this thing called a 'mark' like they have on running tracks, where people put their toes. There is a mark for each actor in the shot and a mark(s) for the camera too. I would go on but I am sure you can figure the rest out as you are not a stupid man despite recent evidence.

Jörg, which sword do you think is the most effective against the zombies?
@FHC...
@FHC... 2 жыл бұрын
It will yield the same result. Smashing and bashing against something made to slash will deform and chip away at it. Both the Katana and these Turk blades are very good at doing what they were meant to do, neither is superior nor inferior. The only thing that sets them apart is that the Katana is a two-handed weapon and the Turk sword is one-handed, the former can cut through a body while the latter can leave deep wounds. All that matters is how skilled the wielder is and how he uses them.

They use really mediocre steel, unfortunately. I hope they go from stainless (4034) to something more performance oriented (5160/1095) in the future. That would really elevate these swords. Also, *much* better resolution on the pictures on their webshop.

On the ertugrul sword: fix the problem with the handguard, by setting two bolts for example. Let the metallbinding on the scabbard be not overstanding (could stuck on clothes), get rid of the standardrings, charge 30 bucks more for the perfect version, inform me when it´s done and i´ll buy one. There is for at least one issue on the other sword. Greetings ice.
