I used to not wear socks growing up because I didn’t like the feeling of them, but I wore flats and sandals. If it was cold, I’d wear boots with socks but I hated it. After a while I noticed the smell and decided to start wearing socks, and now I can’t even walk in my house without socks on. It makes a huge difference.

She doesn't strike me as physically unable to reach her feet (if she is disabled, i am sorry) . When was the last time she washed them? Thst between her toes...that was weeks of dead skin and stuff.

How many people do you know with terrible teeth that never brush yet physically able to? Surprisingly common, the amount of people I know that say they hate feet vs people with non age or diabetes related food issues is almost none. If you think about it you’d almost expect more foot issues and less dental issues considering we see teeth way more often as that’s quite literally peoples face to the world.

It's one thing to have a fungal infection you've been unsuccessful at treating and it's quite another to obviously never wash your feet and between your toes when you know good and well your feet stink so bad. Hygiene is step number 1! Clean socks is step 2. Socks are like underwear for your feet...maybe even more important than underwear because at least clothing gets washed regularly(hopefully!), but shoes dont. I don't know why I watch these because I think feet are disgusting and this further proves my case.😂

In my 20s we had a housemate who's feet smelled rank. We would't have visitors due to the smell she left on the carpets and i cannot stand the smell of Glen 20 cos we used so much of it trying to get rid of the smell. Don't judge you say. There is no excuse for what she has between her toes. I thoroughly wash and dry in between my toes every time i shower. Always have

I recommend that the toes and toenails be treated with Carmex (made for the lips). Here's what happens. Odor fungus will be slaughtered and, with repeated Carmex application, the toenails will simply stop growing. Carmex contains a small amount of Phenol. Phenol is used by foot doctors to permanently kill toenail roots. In addition callouses will be soften and can often be scraped away just with your fingernails. I did all of this. So far three of the 5 toenails on my right foot have totally stopped growing. That's great. I hate clipping toenails.

My feet would smell if I ever wear synthetic lining in my shoes, however if I wear only leather then they don't smell at all. Get some decent shoes for starters.

Charcot foot is the destruction of your bones in your feet, causing them to look like flat feet or a bulge from the bottom of the foot. This lady definitely had bunions not Charcot. Do you have both maybe?

I do not wear socks. Ever. I also don't leave my shoes on for extended periods of time. I'm unable to wear socks because of nerve problems in my back causing my feet to be numb. My toes don't look like that and my feet don't smell.

Some people are so rude here. I'm well educated and had a good job and then lost almost everything during the pandemic, suffering from major depression. Sometimes It's hard to take a shower and in general taking care of myself. Thanks god, we have still a free health public system in France but it's sooo rude to red all those judgmental comments

I don't think it's possible not to judge the unhygienic lady. And while we truly don't know her life circumstances which led to the situation, we don't know anything about her mental state or other issues, we just have to judge the state to which her feet came to in order maybe to watch ourselves not to become like her. I know people who barely brush their teeth just because, and they are about 35 yo (and everyone envies that person I'm thinking about because for some odd reason they never had teeth issues). There is nothing wrong about us judging if we keep compassion in our hearts. You can say it's horrible and it needs to change while being decent and reasonable. I work with people, and some of my clients are stinky old buggers, and sometimes they are young stinky buggers, and I'll judge the heck out of their hygienic habits, or rather lack there of. It doesn't mean they are bad people or somehow they are criminals for stinking to the high heavens, but that's just basically disrespectful. It's that "we live in the Society" meme. You have to keep others in mind. And I do keep in mind that in some cases health issues influence body odor etc. I speak of people who gave up on keeping up with showering and laundering, but they decide it's ok to come into the places where people congregate for leisure, such as theatres, libraries, or museums stinky as goats. If you think I'm too harsh, would do you like to sit in the next seat with a week old garbage bag? In reality I just hold my breath and try to get rid of them politely as fast as possible. I can deal with anyone as long as they are not stinky, I can help old people, hard of hearing, stupid people, first-timers, even angry people I can deal with; but unhygienic people do not respect me enough for me to respect them back and go out of my way as I would for almost anyone else, and to ensure I actually did everything I can.
