It's the martial arts discipline. First thing you are always told is to stay away from the 3 prohibitions- drugs, alcohol, and women.

@@ishe728 seems more like a life, soul, mind, body ... discipline... Sounds kind of like proverbs. In the Bible. And also other chapters. But I thAnk GOD for the falling and the mistakes in life. For if I've never failed before how do I know what it feels like to complete my trials in life. For even with the failures We Grow. We learn from our mistakes. Like when a baby crawls. Then Falls a couple of times but keeps getting back up. Till eventually the baby is walking . Some of the greatest discipline I've ever learned. What's life hard lessons and experiences. GOD given gift . From Mr born to suffer. Though I prosper. It is only because of he.

@@montybennett5220 yes I used to be the drinking sometimes drunken master . But I put that title away many years ago. I used to get angry and put three cigarettes between my fingers and smoke them at the same time. Thank GOD I did not get cancer. I have energy as high as the Sun. And I feel like a kid again. I have to meditate myself to sleep. But I thank GOD that I don't smoke or drink anymore. GOD is truly preserve me . And yes it is amazing that brother Michael Jai White has never been drunk before. brother Michael Jai White. Well done.

@Darque Robinson Ha ha! Happy to know you agree with me. Well, I just felt like using two hyphenated adjectives. "Well-respected" and "Respectable" would have sufficed but I don't know about "Respectful". The former two would be better suited to allude to an upstanding person whom you think favorably of, whereas "Respectful" would apply to someone who habitually treats other people's opinions with deference, although "Respectable" people are generally "Respectful" of others. So I guess there is some overlap. Anyway there is no need for hair-splitting and I am not changing my adjective- it stays even if you think it's "kinda off" lol! Thanks for the input though.

You should be the new blade, or a bad guy in black panther! Idk why they haven't brought you back as shown!! Love that movie, yes some of the fx and writing was cheesy but you were good with what you had to work with! With better fx and writing

Bruh...thanks so much for this info. We're about the same size and build (I'm on the heavier end at 260) and I'm trying to bring it down to about 225 without sacrifice of muscle. This information really helps.

The way MJW speaks, it seems he would be really encouraging and motivational as he is pummeling you.

Spot on Mike. I've been busting my trooper's chops about this for years. Excellent advice! And the science behind it is very accurate and important. I'm a mesomorph myself, but I have ectomorphs trying to train like endomorphs and tearing their tendons using heavy weights. Ret. Sgt. Hercules T Sifonas

You got it wrong. You're not better for being a mesomorph. Just different.

What a top bloke. Maximum respect for this guy. He deserves far more credit for his achievements, but I think it’s because he has a genuine, good character which doesn’t do well with Hollywood. The only exception is Keane reeves.

I always get reminded that nothing is original and no one is unique, there I was just telling my boy he needs to see the body like a carbon fibre car, light weight but strong and I was explaining if u increase the engine/the body size and mechanics u need to keep it cool, just like engines over heating and here I see mjw spitting game already. Respect to the master 👊🏿

As a normal person, I particularly appreciate the "If I wasn't in this line of work I'd be 250lbs with about 25% body fat" part (paraphrased). I think that is a very huge detail that a lot of people don't understand, and it's part of what makes them create poor self images etc. It's nice to see someone like MJW pointing this out and being real about it!

What I like about Jai the most is his knowledge and character. His brand should be way bigger than what it is. If money wasn't an obstacle I'd hire him as a trainer and life coach.
