Honda is a bushing nightmare, every bushing breaks on them. that rear trailing arm, have to be replace on most models, they don't make any bushings for them.

There's a brand called febest that makes the trailing arm bushings including the rear control arm part

@@EricGlowacki1 I think they make the REAR KNUCKLE BUSHING,powerflex no.20 on diagram is the bushing for it, and stronflex makes it.

febestparts.com/REAR_ARM_BUSHING_KIT/HAB-162 This should be a trailing arm bushing for a 2007 crv but it does include a diagram with a list of other bushing part numbers

@@EricGlowacki1 these parts are the same for Honda element?!

@@jamesguralski5156 the rears for the 2nd gen CRV and the Element are pretty much identical, but I don't feel confident saying that they're the same parts. But you could use this video as an install guide for the Element

How come the other bushings WEREN'T REPLACED at this time. For the few bucks that they cost and only a few minutes to replace, then will last much longer and no noises coming from work preformed. Also swaybar links not replaced, its half off, put new on and make SAFER. Looks all Factory now. Took everything apart with air tools but put back with ratchet, I understand starting with a ratchet, then use a ratchet air tool to put back in all the way almost tight. Then you go in and TORQUE everything all down to Factory SPECS, use a ratchet so you don't cross thread bolts or nuts, I know that, but once started, then use power to get faster. Also should of sprayed holes with Lube unless it calls for locktite, then I understand. I try to use never-seize on most stuff that will need to come apart again over time, but if it calls for LOCKTITE, then I don't use it. Also for those that due this at home, spray PB Blast on it at least 3 to 4 times in a week if driving it and fixing the following weekend, then it comes apart a lot easier due to the pb blast seeps into the threads of the bolts and nuts and allows them to come off easy. On older vehicle's, those bushings, you can spray with safe silicone spray if you have a squeak, spray the rubber bushings down with a silicone spray that's made for rubber and the squeak should go away, I live in the Northeast region where it gets very cold and people snap door handles off their cars because door get frozen shut, I swear this silicone spray on a rag and I clean all my door jamb rubbers on the door and on the vehicle before every winter to get them ready for the winter. Never have a problem getting the doors open because they never Frozen but I've had the problem, also you can buy the proper stuff at the Dealership to do the same thing and sunroofs and window trim tracks on the rubber that prevents all that stuff from cracking and leaking over the years and if you have a sunroof you want to take care of those seals so you don't end up with a leak.. I use the cheaper way out than DEALERS stuff. If had old car worth $100,000.00 then I would be using the best stuff.

Your comment says that you've never worked at a shop before. Some people only wants specific things replace and not the others. Replacing other parts requires more money. Theory is: you do as your customer says or you'll end up with no customers.
