This tutorial demonstrates the use of an Audio Delay to create an effective CV delay, with some tweaking. Useful for instrument design and combinator construction.

Thanks Detroit! (I was born in Warren). My sound is coming from the nn19, but the CV is coming from a Subtractor which produces just white noise. It is there only to take the MIDI signal from the Combinator, and output audio with a specific ADSR envelope. The SCREAM unit will "ride" the amplitude of the noise and convert it back into a CV signal. In this manner, a delay on the Subtractor audio translates to a delay on the output CV.

Your tutorials are simply amazing! I don't know if I have a use for a CV delay, but it's fun to creatively route Reason for all of these effects you come up with. Thanks! :)

So, the connections are parallel: Combinator ( 1. NN19(au) > EQ(au) > Comb. out(au) 2. Subtractor(au) > Scream(au) > EQ(CV) )

Hey there Ace- I enjoy yor posts! Quick question using a CV delay would come in handy if you already used the ADSR or envelope generator for a sweep right? limitless sweeps here.
