LOVE this soap! Looks very organic, unplanned and very Mediterranean, just my style! Enjoyed this! I am no expert at all, but learned that when I use impression mat for CP, I make sure I add sodium lactate and just a tad of table or sea salt to make the bar a bit harder and easier to release....took a few attempts to learn that. As always, love your videos!

Very pretty Kenny! I'm saving up my end pieces and am going to do some fun stuff with rebatching too. I've had horror rebatches in my early soaping years, so I tend to not add much water which took care of the shrinkage and warping. Too bad the impression mat didn't do it's thing, but you made it work even better. LOVE it!

Susan Orban oh my goodness honey! I would love to have that many stamps, you must have spent a small fortune. I only buy them when they are on sale or come from China, which of course takes ages to get here, lol. You have fun with your creations doll, and email me a pic when time ou do, I would love to see the end result! Oh, and thanks so much, I'm so glad you like them! Bigs hugs and have fun!

Wonderful Kenny! You turned a sows ear into a purse! I am in Ontario Canada and I also have that large stamp - from my local Michaels LOL They must have ordered millions of them from China eh? Something I do with soap scraps - I grate them up - confetti style and make a basic decent soap batter then donate the bars to animal rescue here. Also to the local Food Bank. Might be something for you to consider with your scraps - great causes out there who would surely appreciate them. Not to mention the skin benefits for their benefactors. Stay safe and warm Kenny - we are getting hit with some nasty weather - suppose you are too. Hugs

I just found your channel and have a whole lot of soap base that needs to be re-batched. When you did the re-batch on this video, you did it because you didn’t like the texture of the soap, so when you remelted it, what made the change? Was it just that you whipped it or what? Thanks. I know you had to redo it, but it was sooo pretty before it was melted!

Hi, love! Thank you so much for watching! The reason why I rebatched it is because it was not drying out no matter how long it had been curing and when I used it, it was a blue drippy mess. The rebatching allowed some of the excess liquid to be cooked out of it and I whipped it because it gives it such a nice airy feel to it. Hope this explains and best of luck with your rebatching!

Your re-batch soap is so much smoother, how did you mix it so well to get the lumps out?

Beautiful soaps. Can I ask what the dimensions are on your bars. I just found a wine box that has 3 cavities and the measurements are 3.75 x 3.75 x 13 inches. So my bars would be almost 4 sq inches. Your bars look like they are on the larger size or is that just the magic of video. Thanks!

great video! random question but what's the difference between using soap that has been drying out for a few days as appose to a few weeks? x
@RoyalAppleBerry
@RoyalAppleBerry 7 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much dear! The reason why we allow soaps to cure out for weeks is because it's going to loose a lot of water weight, which makes the bar harder and last longer. I've used new soaps a few day after making it, but it didn't last very long, plus I like to make sure all traces of lye is gone before selling and using, but of course with rebatch soap, there isn't any traces of lye left. Thank you so much for watching and commenting dear! Greatly appreciated!
