I dunno why they disliked the movie! It’s a classic Snyder film, ensemble genre, slow motion shots and action scenes. I love the movie. Great story, gorgeous cinematography. Congrats to all! Looking forward to Part 2

What is the deal with directors cuts? How about amking a decent movie in the first place? I really don't get that obession.

@@ratenothing basically the directors cut is what the director originally intended. Studios can come in and force scenes to be cut due to various reasons that can affect pacing, characters, story or even the overall plot. The directors cut is an hour longer so I feel like I've not even seen the real film yet its a shame

@@carolpulma2734 "Tell us how you really feel." I mean I just did lol 🤷. Sure WW was a blast loved that movie but how can you compare 2 diff movies? What worked for one might not work for the other. Do they have the same pacing? What about fight choreography? The pacing of that too. I remember the WW movie having cool slow mo followed up by faced paced fight choreography. Maybe WW was more balanced and had better fight choreo so visually It felt and looked better even when they have the same amount of slo mo. Dude I'm not the only who thinks the slo mo in this was excessive or it could've been balanced and paced better who knows.

Snyder had mentioned that the R rating of the film is more of a complete non edited version from this one. Hey, maybe because of that the "slo mo" is more prevalent and seems overused because the movie is missing one hour? You ever think about that? Huh? Ms. "Bad, bad, bad?" Lol. Right? There's a more complete non released version right? This just adds to what I was saying earlier. Also, love Snyder and I'm a huge DC fan.

Was not familiar with Space Opera UNTIL Rebel Moon. Amazing!!!! Could NOT take my eyes off Kora and her kick-ass stunts. I believe Sofia did most of her stunts? Always mesmerized by Asian sword figthing. Thank you Nemesis!!! They even got Djimon beefed up. Amazing! WOW! Just watched Rebel Moon last night when it premiered on 12 21 23 on Netflix. Have watched it now 8 times since it premiered. Binge watched and on a loop. hahaha. The cast, the characters, the great acting (even the extras), the set, the scenery, the cinematography. Even the digital effects crossed into reality. We felt we were really in other worlds. Sofia Boutella was so great as a kick-ass woman. Her scenes were so great and exciting. Loved the sword-figthing of Nemesis. Even Djimon Hounsou got really ripped. WOW! How did he do that????? The muscles of all the men. Wow! hahahaha. Congratulations Zack Snyder.

We should’ve just gotten the directors R rated cut. The pacing felt all over the place and by the end I couldn’t care less about the side characters. Now hearing that they each have their own backstory means to me that this didn’t work as a stand alone film.

For those saying that Rebel Moon is not original. Ummmm. Every idea starts a bit from someone else's idea. No idea is truly, purely, exclusively, completely, utterly, wholly, exactly, uniquely, solely an orginal idea (unless you are God that created the worlds). That is true for inventions, it starts with an idea. And then someone else improves upon it. It is true for inventions and that is true for creative work like movies, shows, books. scripts, stage plays, etc. What makes the difference is the execution, direction, screenplay, digital effects, well-done stunts and acting in the film. Even Star Wars- A New Hope (1977) was influenced by Akira Kurosawa's Seven Samurai's (1954). So give it up folks!

Zack was my favorite director visually hands down 300, sucker punch 2 of my fav all time movies, but honestly I'm disappointed in the movie. The story was so boring lots of good potential in characters barley touched on. And my favourite element to action scenes (slow mo) massively over used in this. I guarantee we won't see another rebel moon movie after part 2. I've still have no idea who the child of fire is actually is...if anything it might be able to get a TV show maybe. He's also ripping people off teasing all these different cuts like you will watch this again! To see if it's any better.

To be fair it wasn't Zack Synder's idea to cut the movie up. It was Netflix's requirement so they could give the movie a PG-13 rating so more people could watch it. As if people actually care about ratings when they stream movies in their own homes.

@@netflixandchinchilla The part where they were captured and Kora escapes but blood axe and General Titus and them is till tied up 10-15ft in front of the senator and platoon of bad guys. They could've easily shot up the lot of them ending the revolution but was fixated on just 1 person Kora hiding behind them is crazy. Such a bad scene lol. Come on now.

Visuals to please teens with a script for 5 years olds. Objectively bad. Final boss fight gets teeth knocked out then has all his teeth in his next scene in a close up. No continuity or logic throughout this movie. I struggled to watch the first 20 mins and turned it off. then came back out of curiosity, to see if it got worse. It did.

Movie with the most braindead actions taken by the characters and stupid scenes I ever seen in a movie taking itself seriously. EVERY major step of this movie came from a beyond illogical, stupid, braindead action taken by a character. I understand movies needing to sometimes have things happen to move a plot along but my gods it seemed here that's all it was. The main beats were plotted and there was no effort put into getting the situation/characters there logical/naturally. NOPE...have someone do something incredible brainless so that the next thing can happen.
