every now and then i entertain the idea that all anger is born from sadness. i try to analyze certain examples of angry villains and can find some truth to that. but some i dont, i just see pure evil and i dont know if its just me not finding the source of their anger or if they just dont have any goodness in them. definitely at least 2 examples of villains here. one you can sympathize with, the other is just something you have to destroy.

David was cast pretty well but Kevin and Kerry were way too small and should have been reversed as Efron was clearly jacked on roids and tan like Kerry he looked nothing like Kevin. The guy playing Kerry is smaller than Zach it was ludicrous ! A wasted opportunity for a very interesting family saga. Fritz was cast fairly well.

i like this strategy in writers’ rooms too. having a mix of people who are familiar and unfamiliar with the source material allows for more out-of-the-box ideas that don’t contradict established lore

The Fallout show is a great and increasingly rare example where the cast and creators actually respect the original IP, and work hard to create a show that doesn't throw the games out the window or directly try to insult the gamers that made it successful in the first place. Ella Purnell played some of Fallout 4 and learned about the lore, the writers and directors did a fantastic job bringing this world to life, even Walton Gogginsand Aaron Moten who didn't play the games still convey their respect for the IP (looking at you Halo) rare W all around for a game-to-tv development!

The great thing is that Fallout isn't about a character. It's about characters. It's a great property to adapt, because they can just make a new story and adapt the "feel" of being in that world, instead of adapting a specific story and characters.
