Ball parking here, but rear sets($400), china plastics($600), header($500-600), light controls($100-200), coolant elbow($50-ish), then whatever hardware and gaskets he had to replace. Without and sponsor deals(fairings, obv)... Normal person would probably be in it at least $2k assuming they did it all themselves. Having a shop do it? Tack on another grand probably. Then whatever it costs him to get a rebuilt title so it can be insured unless he's planning on selling it as a salvage bike.

RK, I am a new sub and have watched several of your vids. I must say I am duly impressed with this channel. Just finished the 600RR vid/rebuild you did a year ago and boy is that a good looking bike. I purchased a damaged Groom and did a light rebuild and it was a blast. Keep up the good work and great vids coming.

Do you need a dealer license to buy bikes from them?

@sirhuntntersteelsirhunters2248 only if it is a clean title bike. Dealer license or have a broker. I've bought both mine as salvage and didn't need anything but an ID

Fantastic work would have been cleaning the front of the engine before slapping another set of headers on and getting the fork alignment checked before slapping a Chinese fairing on it.

Liquid gasket or gasket maker works well to for exhaust gasket also helps seal it perfectly. 😊

Holy crap man your shop has grown so much. Sorry I haven't shown the support in a while been really busy with work and kids. Just got my first bike finally, a 2003 honda rebel cmx 250. Trying to fix it up lol, we still need to get together for a beer lol. Still your number 1 Canadian Fan. Lol

Another great project! Just curious. What's your preferred method to deal with a tank that's a different color than the fairings you pick up? Paint? Wrap Other? Looking at fairings for my 2005 YZF-R6 project. Thanks!

Hi man...can I kindly ask some advice on u if u don't mind...I had zx6r 2000 model I'm getting hard time on it..when I'm driving inside on the city it's running good cause the max speed allowed is 80kph but when I'm in the straight open road Its running 140 only in d 3rd to 4rth gear and for the 5th to 6th gear it can max 120 only...den when my bike hit the max speed each gear even I didn't releasing the throttle and the speed are dropping... maybe it might u help me on it to give me advice what I can do...

I’ve tried that already. They don’t sell for the same price clean title bikes do. I usually have to go down half the price then someone will buy it, salvage is not worth it

There's a sticker on the original fairing that says "semakin didepan". It's Malay which translates to leading further. 🤭

I don’t think so, I believe they switch around some stuff from the years like 09-11 is different from the 12-14 different daytime running lights etc but I could be wrong lol

is there any place to bid on salvage bikes without making a PAID account? A lot of the paid salvage bidding sites make accounts of their own and bid on the bikes they're selling to make the amount go up :(
