I don't hate the rim color at all. It still works and I'd be happy to own it regardless. But if it were me i would be going right for color matched blue, black or white. I think white would make the bike really pop

Hey Rob! First of all - LOOKS UN.REAL. Second of all - Always so fun to see someone get on one of the crossplanes after being on 600s. I'm sure you've ridden liter bikes before but "In.SANE." is the only way to describe those early Cross planes. It's so intoxicating and the way it delivers power is something you only understand if you've ridden it. Made me smile because I remember that feeling so well. Only ONE tiny thing to note - You didn't fasten the seat onto the gas tank properly (at first). You can see it lift up. You may have gone back and got it latched down off camera. It's kind of finicky on the 09-14s but you've got to slide the front end (gas tank side) in first and then after applying a little pressure slide the back side in through the space left by the rear tail fairing piece. It's not as well designed as other bikes like my 05 R1 or 07 R1 but it does slot in there. You're the maestro so I know you got it right but yeah it's a little gimmicky

The color scheme is fine with the wheels. The only thing i would do is tie the rim color on the plastics in a very subtle way like highlight a few of the decals💪

colour selection is individual taste, and in my opinion rims colour with blue colour or black with blue in the lips is more sick. but you did very nice, can't wait your next rebuild videos.

Great job, man! In a perfect world, I’d paint the wheels in Yamaha blue, but I still like the color as is. There’s also the bottom line to think about. The crossplane engine makes a great sound and it builds speed in a hurry.

Great rebuild, one thing I'd like to mention, the temp sensor goes under the left side of the headlight assembly there's a little hole where it fits

Overall I really like the concept you were going for. I think it is immensely better than the look prior. I think the side fairing might be a little but busy for me personally but doesn’t stop me from liking it overall.

i think the opsion is blue ,white ,or grey ,if blue that will be same like the front firing ,if white will be same like the tank ,and if grey will be same like graphics on the down firing ,that's my opinion:)

Honestly I would prefer blue colour for the rim. That Neon green doesn’t matches with blue and white. If the fibre parts were all black then neon green rims would have looked beautiful.

Sorry, but not even daylight can sway my mind on that wheel color. It's definitely a crayon color I'd remove from the box. Other than that, it's a beautiful bike.
