RECAP: Individual Event 3 - 2021 NOBULL CrossFit Games

2 жыл бұрынIt was time for individual athletes to go for a run in the third event of the 2021 NOBULL CrossFit Games.
Heat 3 of the men’s 550-yard sprint event set the top five times to beat, with Brazil’s Gui Malheiros 🇧🇷 leading the pack. Bjorgvin Karl Gudmundsson 🇮🇸 and Canadians Alex Vigneault 🇨🇦 and Brent Fikowski 🇨🇦 were ready to take the field in the final heat. Would Malheiros be able to hang on to his first event win?
On the women’s side, former track stars Brooke Wells 🇺🇸 and Tia-Clair Toomey 🇦🇺 were heavy favorites to win the event. Did they meet expectations?

There was a stat that said Toomey did 400m 800m and 1500m hurdles 1500m hurdles doesn’t sound right

I would hate to compete against someone who is faster, stronger, has more endurance, has more will power than people who are supposed to be specialists in ONE of those fields! I mean this was the event that was supposed to be made for Brooke Wells and somehow Tia beats her!

Tia trained for track to compete at the Olympics before she got into CrossFit.
