Probably the most perfect Superfruit song. Now we know it was their last and was basically a ‘goodbye’ song to their fans- although they never said that. There are some ballads on their albums but they are mostly upbeat fun songs. They said the albums (all originals) were based on their own relationship. Great Ballard ‘Goodbye From Lonely’. I‘m gonna join the people saying that Guy.exe should be next - it‘s been my go to song + video when i needed something to brighten my mood this past year 😂 Same goes for Imaginary Parties - that one is an absolute feel good track but less overtly funny.

Hi Recky. Love this cover. Superfruit has some beautiful songs, mostly original. One of my favorites is Guy.exe. It’s a little naughty. It’s camp. It’s fun & it’s like a mini movie. More Rocky Horror Picture Show than Frankenstein but sprinkled with Young Frankenstein. Hopefully you’re familiar with those movies. If not, just know that it’s fun. Lovely reaction! Even though this was a cover(original by the band When In Rome)- the lyrics certainly fit Mitch and Scott. It feels like their promise to each other as friends and a love letter to fans (it came out Valentine's Day 2019) even though it was the last song they did together as Superfruit.

So excited to see you going down a new rabbit hole - PTXs side projects. Superfruit: more of a fun side of them covering Frozen Medley & Defying Gravity. And… Kevin/KO covering Down & Sign of the Times. You’ll be jaw dropping. Lol

Thanks for the great reaction. This is a very special song for a lot of reasons. The lyrics are beautiful and fit the situation of Scott and Mitch perfectly. As was mentioned by other viewers. This was the last song by Superfruit. Mitch mentioned in a "live stream" that it was the most "emotional" performance he had in Superfruit. So the "vibe" you were getting from this video was real. The story of Scott and Mitch is long and complicated. Where they stand on a personal level is up for debate. But as members of Pentatonix, they still are giving us great material. If you have the time. Watch the Superfruit Vlogs from beginning to end. (Over 200 of them). It will give you insight into these two people and also give a running history to the "rise" of Pentatonix. It was a 5 year period of time that really saw Pentatonix come into their own. And we had a behind the scene look into Scott and Mitch's experiences during that time.

By far my favorite Superfruit music video and song. I love it.

Now that you’ve got your first taste of Superfruit you can’t help but get hooked! This is the really funny sexy side of Scott and Mitch. Their original songs are so good (some are very funny), but their vlogs and challenges are awesome as well. Between PTX and Superfruit, they helped me get through quarantine. I binge watched both channels at least three times and then turned to reactors to get the feeling of watching them for the first time all over again. You will love them! I’m only sad that they aren’t doing Superfruit anymore.

I think you will enjoy the rest of Superfruit's offerings. Those two are phenomonal.

Sadly, this was the last Superfruit release. Scott & Mitch stopped producing Superfruit material after this one, so this was their goodbye to their fans. I'm not really sure why they stopped recording. This was one of their actual music videos. About 90% of Superfruit videos were actually comedy videos. I'm not sure what the copyright is on these official music videos, but if you watch any of their comedy videos, they are not copyrighted and you don't need to put any filter over the videos. I would suggest several of their comedy videos (all of which have really good singing on them too): both parts of Hip Hip Goes Broadway, Defying Gravity, and the two videos they did with Kirstie from Pentatonix, Frozen Medley (one of the funniest videos on KZfaq) and La-La-Land Medley.

Superfruit has a few truly outstanding performances. If you have not done it already, be sure to do "Rise" which also includes three invited singers to join Mitch and Scott.

Guy.EXE is by far the favorite to introduce people to Superfruit's originals, but I'm going to add Deny U and Hurry Up as my favorites. Superfruit started as a comedy vlog and the guys mostly added music slowly because they just couldn't help themselves. As such, there are a few very distinct directions reactors can go. 1) funny performances with mostly serious vocals like Defying Gravity and the Frozen Medley. They were having fun with it and you can tell. 2) Medleys in the vein of PTX but different. They use a track with Scott on piano and Mitch singing harmonies and rather than focusing on the mastery of a whole a capella sound it is just all about their voices. Their medleys are beautiful, especially their album (songs from individual albums rather than evolutions of an artist's whole career) medleys like Beyoncé's self-titled album and Rihanna's Anti. 3) Their originals. They wanted the visual to be as important as the sound so they made videos for every single song. Most reactors get mad they never got radio play let alone a Grammy nod, it's just really innovative, wonderful stuff. 4) The miscellaneous stuff. There are a couple things that just don't fit anywhere else. Their cover of Nikki Minaj and Beyoncé's Feeling Myself, where they prove definitively that they rap. The cover of Katy Perry's Rise they did with some of their friends in the gay community to address the Pulse nightclub massacre. Their covers of Happy Little Pill and The Promise and their first original Sweet Life. Also their two Hip Hop Goes Broadway which are exactly what it sounds like and are hilarious even if you don't know the songs.

This was a cover. If you want to listen to an original that is about their relationship listen to "Future Friends", the video is fun, but the lyrics are about when they dated as teens, after being friends for a long time, and it didn't work out, so they needed to break it up so they could be friends in the future. It turned out alright for them. "Guy.exe" is another really fun original, less emotional.

Oh yes, Guy.exe should definately be next. It's one of my favorite Superfruit videos. Mitch is just sublime. And Scott is so charismatic.

I love this cover so much. I remember my friends and I singing this in HS. SuperFruit didn’t have a single bad song on their EP. Those originals are amazing . I would suggest the Beyoncé medley and Empire medleys from SuperFruit. .

Scott & Mitch have a whole album of original songs (Future Friends part 1 & 2, which are all songs inspired by the ups & downs in relationships with each other & others, since they actually dated at one point). But this one is actually a cover of a song from the early 80s, hence that pop-disco sound which they updated by blending it perfectly with...house?(not sure that's the correct term, but I think that's what they call a soft version of edm?) The lyrics aren't just good for a romance but a close friendship too & why they chose it to represent them now as BFFs. As someone else said, it was their last official music video as Superfruit since PTX was about to get very busy with practically back to back tours & everyone having solo projects lined up as well as working on new PTX material between tours, & near the end of making the album they had each gotten their own place instead of continuing to be roomates (because 1 was getting pretty serious with their boyfriend at the time). Once not even living together except when on tour for PTX, they just didn't have as many opportunities to work on yet another side project, so Superfruit was officially on break. Then the pandemic caused & is still causing issues with keeping PTX on track, & Mitch was working on his 1st solo album. They haven't said they'll never do anymore Superfruit duos, but the duo is on hold for now. It might be a few more years, or they might write 1 here & there & save them up for another album in a decade. It will just depend on inspiration & timing I guess, because Superfruit was always a subgroup inside of PTX, not their main focus. Anyway, every single song on Future Friends is great, so you can't go wrong with any of them.

Superfruit is just awesome! Nothing bad has come out of those two! Superfruit is edgy and shows Mitch & Scott's true personalities! Such good friends during this time! Their cover of The Promise is so good with the eighties feel of the song! Adam is an awesome skater! Pick any Superfruit music whether it has an official video or not and you will find a winner! My suggestions are How You Feelin? and Guy.exe by Superfruit! Just so fun! Thank you for your reaction to this, emotions and all!

To understand the close, silly, creative and deeply synergistic friendship between Mitch and Scott you should watch some of Superfruit's vlogs just for yourself, if not for reactions.

Oh, another note: Their song Bad For Us has 2 official videos because they kind of released it as a preview single ahead of time with an animated video which shows a funny story. Then when they put it out on the album & made videos for them all (except those listed as bonus songs), they made a great new video, them doing a 70s dance party thing. So if you do a reaction, it would be fun if you can do both together!! I love both but my favorite is the animated one cause the end just cracks me up every time no matter how many times I watch it. A lot of fans prefer the dance video, though. Will you be able to pick a fave?

Scott and Mitch (and Kirsten) have been singing together since they were 15-16 yes old.

All 3 performers in this video are members of the LGBT+ community. Superfruit is very supportive of its members. They are much more open about this here as compared to the work of PTX. Pentatonix's cover of IMAGINE is an excellent exception.

I'm pretty sure all the songs done by Superfruit were written by Scott and Mitch - but not 100% sure! My favorite Superfruit songs are Guy.exe, Goodbye from Lonely, and my all-time favorite of theirs is Deny U. Deny U is one of the sexiest songs I've ever seen performed! Steamy! Check them out! When you get emotional,every time I hear this I do too because this is the last thing we got from them. Scott and Mitch made us smile and showed us a little of their friendship, unfortunately it went away. 😢

Of course it is perfect. Guy.exe or Hip Hop goes Broadway, please. The Promise makes me sad because it is the last Superfruit video on their channel. Adam is in one of their vlog on the Superfruit channel. They are perfect together as singers, that is why people hold on to the “Scomiche” idea also.
