Today is potentially my last lesson before my final flight test. No doubt my instructor will pull a few surprises on me, and with one of the runways closed, I'll have to contend with a gusty 10kt crosswind. I think I'm ready for whatever challenge my instructor throws at me though. Lets go flying and find out...
ABOUT ME:
I'm a student pilot learning to fly in my spare time. I originally received 30 hours of flying instruction 17 years ago and now I'm back in the cockpit and learning how to fly all over again.

Nice channel man. Randomly came across it a week ago from your "Bad Landings" Video, and this was the first one I've really found time to watch. Only just started my PPL over in Camden a few Months ago, and currently loving it! Seems your Instructor is very thorough indeed, and I look forward to see more of your uploads =]

RJW mate whats your preferred airport and being fixed wing certified do you have a plane to fly in and build hours ???? where do you travel from to fly ??????

Shane Arkwright Wollongong is definitely my preferred airport. I live there, it's very scenic, less busy, and the changing and sometimes challenging winds turn you in to a good and adaptable pilot. I just higher my instructors plane I learnt in to build hours.

Romeo Juliet Whiskey I was under the belief that the 25nm radius was from departure airport ??? Might be worth asking Bruce next time your talking with him

Romeo Juliet Whiskey last time I checked YMIG ( Mittagong) is only 16 mn from ywol I could always get to ywol anyways hahaha

Alexander Brown thanks mate. I've been taught well so feeling confident! The way I see it is it's just another lesson and an opportunity to learn and improve my flying 😀

Yeah! Good man - I'm sure you'll ace the test. Is Bruce your testing officer? I found having a relaxed ATO is what got me through my CPL test. No stress, no pressure (I couldn't say the same for my CPL instructor).

Alexander Brown Bruce is just a second our instructor, so he has a CFI coming down from Sydney to conduct the test. hopefully he will let me film it
