Any pilot that has that kind of talent and expertise is to be admired. Very cool. I'd love to see more of the Thunderbirds and Red Arrows together and separately!

Great fun! Both the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds have been to Anchorage Alaska several times and I’ve watched every one. The first time I got to see one of them was in 1955 in Idaho state. I was allowed to go up a set of stairs next to one of the jets and the pilot sat me down in the cockpit. I was just 6 and still remember it. I have forgotten which group it was but I think it was a Blue Angel Panther jet. Thank you two for your wide level of interests. I’ve even watch some back yard challenges you did awhile back. Fun stuff.

OMG! Christmas came early! Military aircraft AND a redhead 🥰 flipping awesome!! MORE MORE MORE MORE from the Red Arrows PLEASE!!! So, for reals though, did the Queen insist on only hot Brits are allowed to be RAF pilots?? Uncle Brian was a hell of a looker in his day too. MORE RED ARROWS!

Blue Angels and Thunderbirds both use smoke... Just not colored. It's all white. They put smoke canisters where the guns would go. There are quite a few Blues docs (I've seen at least 5) Very cool to see the Red Arrows. I've never seen them before. I missed how many of them there were if you could help a girl out. It's very cool to see the colored smoke! That stinks that they can't do air refuels. Positive note you could probably get out to pee though. Blues don't stop. They just keep refueling in the air.

The Red Arrows were once a team of five planes in yellow Folland Gnat trainer aircraft (The Yellowjacks), then became the Red Arrows (five), then the team became nine aircraft, then they were equipped with the Hawker-Siddeley / Bae Hawk aircraft, and here we are. Notice during their displays the nine formation breaks up into 'the famous five', or two groups (known ands 'gyppo' and 'enid' (after a children's book writer who wrote a nuimber of books starring 'The Famous Five')). There is also a sub-formation called 'the synchro pair' who do the head-on meetings and other stunts. When they travel long distance to do shows, in the US for example, they usually have a large transport plane supporting them with spare parts and groundcrew (the blues), and the team can be up to twelve planes (in this vid you can see nine planes being 'shot' from another plane. Each Arrow carries a maintenance person in the rear seat (the 'circus'), for simple work wherever they end up, and the extra Hawks are there to stand in if one goes unserviceable for any reason that takes longer than a few hours to fix. It can also happen that the team fly a display with eight aircraft, if things don't work out, timing-wise.

Yep . . . The military teams are impressive. I like the precision parachute teams too. So impressive they hit tiny targets & land inside stadiums.

Its great to see the two air force's working together, great honour, much respect and intense rivalry just as there is with the corresponding Navy and Army, thankfully we work together. All that said GB has often come out on top and this has not always been made public (I wonder why). Here is a little video produced by our very own Mark Felton explaining how Britain Nuked America and it was hushed up. Sorry I thought maybe you might be different but I guess not I'm going to give you background on a young girl I ask to just react to once but like the rest its the same ANGELICA HALE Filipino-American was put down for her looks and ethnicity plus all the scars she have from operations she had when she was 4yr old because of organs failure along with kidney transplant she wasn't supposed to live her father set beside her bedside and she was in a coma and hospital for 80days he would play her favorite songs and even in a coma she would move her hands and feet plus nodded her head in time to the music she always wanted to be a singer and like SIA song UNSTOPPABLE I really know one day she will be a star..but like you an others she get no reaction because she not European decent..I'm just asking if for once and now Christmas is almost here could you react once to 12yr old ANGELICA HALE doing HAPPY XMAS (WAR IS OVER)
