I’ve found tons of items by exploring and looting dead body’s i have lots of most sets without any maps

Once u get the metal detector it basically flies by. Wonder the map with it out while stopping by houses and checking for other items and so on. I got to level 20 in two days.

My advice? Start off with the liquor bottles first, as they are always above ground and their locations are easy to memorize.

The collector role essentially gave me the experience I wanted on top of being a badass highwayman. well I say highwayman.. I basically follow collector maps, no fast travel. On the journey I kill anything along the way, humans are a great way to stock up on meds/ odd collectibles and fence items and if you hit and run quick enough you’ll never gain a bounty for it, it reduces honour, but give the ole horse a kiss from time to time and that won’t ever be an issue 👍🏻

The collector is brilliant for leveling up ability cards. Every collection you sell will net you 1950xp in addition to finding everything. Make sure you have new cards active before you sell.

What I did was just bounty hunting and I am already a level 9 on the collecter because so many of the bodies have items on them

Don’t ever apologize about the length of the video! You are one of a small number of people making RDO videos. I started playing this game second day of Beta (Special Edition) owner. These roles have breathed new life in this game, I just hope that R* doesn’t wait to long before introducing new roles, or even new gameplay elements that enhance the game. I still think that like the early days of GTAO, RDO is also in its infancy.

Definitely my very favourite role. With animals spawns broken, bugged camp disappearing all the time and Rockstar servers kicking you out during bounty hunting, this one is pretty much bug-proof :P And using an interactive map can earn you tons of both money and exp very quickly and effortlessly :) The only downside is it gets quite boring if you grind it too much. Heck, I bought collector as the last role, with all the others being around level 5 at the time. Now my collector level is 20, and all the other roles still around 5 :P

Thx Pro. As always good and extensive guide on the role. A small addition to your advises: search/rob all the enemies during any kind of role missions (bounty hunting, delivering recourses, etc.). You can find alcohol, arrow heads and tarot cards pretty often.

I literally just spent all of today leveling this up as soon as I got the metal detector it was game over for the coin collection.

This is a brilliant update. I haven't really done much collector work but I definitely need to, i enjoy bounty hunting the most but trader is great for money, I'm very close to unlocking the large delivery wagon and hunting wagon which I can't wait for.

Got to level 7 only by looting bodies from resupply missions for trader and bounty’s and the enemies. Mind u I’m level 20 trader and 10 bounty so it took a while but I was already doing stuff so it was like a bonus

I have over 4000$ of collector valuables without maps. One metal Detector valuable is always worth somewhere between 15-20$

You can download a map online that has every item spawn location with the names of the items in different colours depending on what cycle it is for that day there are 3 cycles. I spent 7 hours getting every item and made $4000 I'm never doing it again though so boring haha.

I hate the way they "fixed the economy" Everyone complained about the pay so they increased the amount you actually get but all they actually did was make all the times currently in the game easier to get. They still inflated the shit out if the economy. You have to he joking if you think the shovel would've costed more then 100$ if they didn't "fix the economy'

Great guides but I got some tips for you: Miscellaneous = Missle-aneous. Tarot = Tarrow and Legend is the tables that explains what markers are, not the markers themselves.

I started with the trader role and then started switching between the bounty hunter and trader roles, and I accidentally leveled the collector role to level 20, (of course, I also bought the tools for the collector role and did a few collector type things), but mainly it was just stuff I found accidentally and collected along the way! I did do treasure hunting separately.

Collectibles that don't require a metal detector to find also make a constant shimmering sound as if someone is knocking around broken glass when near by. So keep your sound up and listen and use Eagle Eye to enhance the sound if you think you hear it.

The cycle is up to date with whichever on you’re on so you don’t need to search for a collectible on a specific cycle to find out. I just found the 4 tarot card collections and the alcohol collection and made about $1200 in 3 hrs.

Just a little tip though someone may have already posted it: go on story missions with a friend kill the enemies and tell him to cover you while you loot i have found complete sets just by looting

The thing most streamers get wrong is that some collectable items are shareable, well all items are basicly, each item has a 3 day cycle, so if you learn a route you can pick it up 1 day, 2nd dag and 3rd, so after 3rd you can pick up the 1st again, the only reason they cant pick up your items is because they lack metal detector and shovel.

I tend to find collecting collectibles so fun so that’s why I bought collectible as my first role

btw If you get a full set then you don´t have to go to Madam Nazar, but you can go to a post office and send it to her, but it only works for full sets.

If you find an animal that is bleeding to death. You can kill it and it gives you an arrow head

Free roam is also a good way. Just use the map and go mostly to populated areas or where there are buildings.

So if you buy a map, are you guaranteed items that you don’t yet have? Or is it completely random (albeit within the class of collectible indicated by the map).
