This fight wasn't about surviving, everyone knew Arthur was going to die. trying to make it out of the fight alive was impossible, we all knew that. But we were still motivated to keep fighting. Every single hit we landed on Micah was another second for John to escape, every word we spoke was another second for John to escape, and every wound we gave Micah made John's chance to escape even higher. It was never about surviving, it was about John. Arthur wanted John to live, be with his family, and be better than he was. Arthur's dying act was to give every ounce of strength he had left to help John, and god knows how hard we fought with him, to the bitter end. Damn us both, Micah Bell. Damn us both.

When Arthur died I felt empty

Micah tried to stay on Arthur's good side until he saw the opportunity, until he saw Arthur was weak, if Micah tried to pull this shit agaisnt Chapter 1 Arthur he wouldd have broken his neck in half in the first few seconds of the fight

God damn the feels. I'm a grown ass man and I actually shed a few tears on Arthur's last ride. His character development is amazing. Hands down my all time favorite character.

I have never tapped a button faster in my entire life than when you have to crawl for the gun. Even though I knew it was futile, even when I knew there was no way out of this, I still chose to cling to that fleeting shred of hope. This is storytelling at its finest, ladies and gentlemen.

In my opinion this mission had the most powerful soundtrack

"CAN'T EVEN KILL A *DYING* MAN!" Arthur Morgan, 1899 What a ride. This game is the most cohesive, correct and complex game I've ever played. Well done Take2, R★ and every single person who had a modicum of work put into this game.

Arthur's sickness is almost poetic, i see him as the heart of the gang, chapter 1 he's healthy, strong, could survive the worst scenario, chapter 3, issues start happening while Dutch slowly moves to desperation, then Arthur gets TB and the gang starts to die as well, Arthur vs Micah was literally the old gang's ideals and heart vs Corruption itself, in the end when Dutch killed Micah he realized who was the corruption but i believe he didnt stick with John out of shame about himself, he let Arthur die, a kid he raised and was with him for over 20 years, for a piece of shit snake who was with him less than 6 months, like it was OBVIOUS who was on his good side, but Dutch realized too late

1. Dying from tuberculosis 2. No guns 3. Exhausting gunfight beforehand 4. Beaten and dealt with pinkertons right before It took all that and the only person in the game who could maybe outgun him to take Arthur down. Man is the damn Hercules of the West.

After playing video games for 16 years of my life I can finally say, Arthur Morgan is my favorite game character. I've always loved westerns and he doesn't disappoint at all.

I feel like Arthur really influenced and "passed the torch" on to John after passing. John is a lot like Arthur personality wise in RDR1. Its awesome how the story comes full circle like that

When John confronts Dutch on the cliff in RDR1, Dutch could have killed him, but I personally think that Dutch came to realize what he had done in the past, how he got Arthur, his best friend, killed because he chose not to believe him. So, instead of killing John, his old prodigal son, he says "I've got a plan, John." "You always got a plan, Dutch." "This one's a good one." And Dutch leaps off the cliff, achieving his redemption.

Loved how in chapter 1 Arthur didn't like John, but here we are, John and Arthur working together to survive in The last chapter.

Very gripping track. You can easily feel Arthur’s desperation and determination.

I want an "Alternative Reality" DLC where Arthur just shows up at Beecher's Hope to help John kill Edgar Ross. The rest is them talking about old times and having a drink. :/

A dying man, barely standing. Yet he faced an army alone, he fought until the end.

If you look at it wisely, you can see that micah is just like most of us nowadays; In gta v we all love Michael, he’s basically the most influential character in the game, but he was also a rat to the feds, a smart one, that was ready to sacrifice his childhood best friend, Trevor in the prologue but something went wrong and the sniper hit Brad instead yet we all love him and most of us consider him the best character of the trio. In my opinion i see micah as an example of our society nowadays, everyone cares for themselves no matter the consequences and they’re ready to fuck over anyone over greed and power, well atleast most of us is like that.

This doesn't play when Arthur fights Micah, it plays when he battles Pinkertons to save Abigail and Sadie.

Most of you won’t know this because it’s in the games audio files but Mac Callender actually died saving Arthur’s life. While him and Arthur were fighting off a fleet of Pinkerton’s he knew that they weren’t gonna get out of there and Arthur’s horse had just been shot so there was only one horse left. Mac then gave Arthur his horse and fought off the Pinkertons so that Arthur could go and help the others. This sets up perfectly for Mac to be the next main character in RDR3 I think

My hands were so tightly gripped on the controller as the fight scene plays. The whole scene was badass.

Micah is good at talking but not doing. He's always running his mouth about how much better than Arthur he is. Yet despite the fact Arthur was in the final stages of a sickness that would kill him within the hour, weak, malnourished and exhausted from all the fighting beforehand Micah still couldn't beat him. If not for the TB Micah would have been destroyed in moments.

Just recovering from TB a year earlier, I knew exactly how Arthur felt, except the dying part. Its so realistic in a way that even if people are assholes their whole life, they would try to change their life in a good way once they know that they are dying. That transition from being Dutch's right hand and a massive dickhead to a genuinely likeable guy who is trying to rectify all the wrongs that he had done in his life is so seamless that you couldn't care but just love the guy and hope that he sruvives by the end the credits roll. I love Arthur Morgan, he is my favourite character in all of gaming just because of how relatable he is to any other human being on the planet. Thank you Rockstar.

I love this song so much. All those memories... Every little thing, it's all been leading up until this point. And the situation is dire and Arthur is slowly slipping away but you're still determined to see this whole thing through.
