The story is set in a fictionalized representation of the United States in 1899 and follows the exploits of Arthur Morgan, an outlaw and member of the Van der Linde gang, who must deal with the decline of the Wild West while attempting to survive against government forces, rival gangs, and other adversaries.

I really hope as they go on they pay attention more to when dialogue happens while riding a horse during a mission. It’s like just cause it isn’t a cutscene doesn’t mean it isn’t important.

It's just sad he didn't get much appreciation in camp. I remember Hosea getting angry at him for being lazy and just kicked him off his chair 😂 It was so funny, but at the same time super sad knowing what would happen to Sean.

Oak. Talking your time to play rdr2 is the way this game should be played. Do treasure hunts, hunt animals, look for landmarks in between missions (as well as stranger missions ASAP) makes the story feel natural. You guys have improved a lot

You will always discover something new in each playthrough. It's rewarding to just ride and explore instead of following the main story. I came recently across one house for the first time and what I found there literally broke my heart. I'm glad Oak can explore the world more off camera.

You guys gotta remember to hold L2 to interact with characters and keep up with side dialog. It really helps when their is awkward silence because you weren't interacting, also try to get alot of the side missions done it adds wayyy more to story. It would probably be in your favour to try and complete alot of them to explore the world around you aswell!!

Tip for Quinn! To interact with people u need to also look in their direction aswell, not just be close to them, so the game understands who you wanna talk to

Donkey if you are not riding him will automatically run away if a gator gets close. So if you are standing on the shore in the swamps and all of a sudden he bolts... you should probably move too.

Quick tip, stop using cinematic mode so often because then you cant hold L2 to interact with characters, the dialog provided add to story heavily!

I've watched all you guys rdr 2 gameplay so far love watching you guys learn as you go rather then just killing it every mission. I'd like to recommend skyrim cause that would be so fun to see and aot wings of freedom as yours are past season 1 in the anime so fine to play that game now.

Mason Quinn had some good questions concerning the predicaments they kept seeming to get put in ! some advice i would give is to pay more attention to the dialogue on the wnay to places.. it often gives more backstory and insight to whats going on . A lot of the times they are talking to each other going over plans, etc. Relying on cinematic mode will lose the ability to use the interact feature with who you are riding with. Love how quinn has just improved drastically! " The padewon has become a master" haha! Its not over yet ... THE WORLD IS WATCHING !!! ( See what i did there? ) The story continues ! Cant wait for more horse riding simul... i mean umm ... Read Dead 2

When you're aiming out, let that reticle focus before you shoot. That bullet will hit anywhere inside of that circle. Also, get comfortable with taking cover in shootouts. There's almost always cover. Moving from cover to cover is easy if you aim at the spot you want to reposition to. It works really well and looks cool. I'm a gamer and going into RDR2 without knowing all the controls takes some getting used to.

I'm glad that you guys seem to be liking the game more and learning how to play it better. It does take a while to get used to everything but you guys are doing great now as you progress. Chapter 3 probably went by quickly due to knowing how to play it more. Also, I think it was a shorter chapter in general. That's because chapter 2 is more focused on missions to get to know characters and how to play, so it may be longer. Just to let you know, this chapter is the beginning of the new tone for the game. I won't spoil too much, but things become a lot more interesting from here on out. After the next mission or two, A LOT of stranger missions will pop up in Saint Denis and surrounding areas. Make sure you do all of them, they are really fun and personally I find them to be some of the best in the entire game. Looking forward to the next video or stream. :)

Havent slept outside in about 20 years. It was winter with about a foot of snow on the ground. Froze my ass off even with a fire.

The prepurchased saddles are saddles that you get the trapper to make. So if you get yourself a 3 star alligator and take it to the trapper he'll make you a gator saddle, which is better than the regular saddles. You then collect the saddle at the stables.

You can make the acceleration of the camera while aiming slower in the settings for better aim

Guys you don't need to loot every single body after a fight. You will miss lot of dialogues when you keep looting instead of keeping with the mission.

Good shootin, you are def getting better with the dead eye... try to use it more often on single targets, to get a feeling for it - after a while it becomes natural and than you can start marking multiple targets. Also you really dont have to care about loot that much anymore, at this point. You have more than enough money and ammo - not worth missing good dialogue in the main story missions, just because you have to loot 20 dudes for $15 and some ammo.

I second these tips on the deadeye.I had a hard time at first doing the deadeye but it’s get pretty easy overtime the more you practice and use it in fights. As for looting too you guys don’t really need to loot every time at least during a main story mission.

Please do Sleeping dogs!!! All 4 of you guys or the trio like these red dead series. We definitely wanna see you guys play rdr1 but sleeping dogs is a classic a lot of people love. story in that game is so good please give sleeping dogs a chance or think about it at least. Edit: Also whenever you guys are crouched you can still hold A or X to move quicker while crouched low still.

Saint denis is the worst city ride around with a horse. Its so overcrowded with people, you can easily run over them and alert the law.

Dont know if you guys will see this but hitting your dead eye reloads your guns, so instead of having to wait for Arthur to reload one bullet at a time, you can turn your dead eye on for a second and reload instantly

So many game suggestions in live-chat, I need to chip in :D 'Life is strange' would be great to see you play together, the 'Arkham series' perhaps a duo or solo but all could react :D One game that if you haven't played you absolutely must for at least once in your lifetime: 'Shadow of the Colossus.' Also a game called 'Kingdom Come: Deliverance' is very much worth the play, it's getting a sequel this year so it's hot too :D The 2018 God of War is much more movie-like than the old trilogy, so on that note maybe play the 2018 and react to a synopsis. IF you have the time or feel like doing it, many games if not all have 'movies' going through the games. If you guys by any chance choose to dabble with that then def watch the old God of Wars and the Arkham Series.

You get the best saddle from hunting. The Arabian is good horse, arguably the best in the game - the only problem is that its a bit tiny and too "pretty" for Arthur, lol - doesnt rly fit the theme of an outlaw. I like the Missouri Foxtrotter better - it has almost the same stats as the Arabian, but its way bigger more rough looking.

The one where Arthur gets kidnapped is the first time he sees the deers. The animal he sees when he was dying there and later on, when in peril, is his spirit animal. If you had bad honour you’d see a wolf, if you’re good you see a deer.

Yall should play red dead online to get familiarized with the controls. I have barely played any of it so im not sure how much story related stuff is involved but I think itd be good for yall to practice without story spoilers Also, edit, i am OBSESSED with norse mythology and so when god of war 2018 came out i was ecstatic. I HIGHLY recommend 2018 then ragnarok at least, the other ones are also insane but i find the newer ones right up Oak's alley; lessons galore🤣🤣

Watching the VOD - REALLY looking forward to God of War. I would recommend a god of war 1-3 summary video then jump straight into God of War 2018 followed by God of War Ragnarok.

51:03 For me its a night and day difference, PC is so much easier, if controller didn't have the aim assist/support i wouldn't be able to play with a controller... (mouse and keyboard also has auto aim assist/support by the way). I would like to see Oak play some call of duty (or any first person shooter) with a mouse and keyboard to see how well he would perform, i think that his precision and quickness would be on another level (maybe not at first but after he gets used to it) because i cant even imagine using a controller for a first person shooter.

You guys should watch the cutscenes for God of war 1-3 and START playing God of war 2018 after those are done. "Gamers little playground" is the best channel to watch it on. They include context before each cutscene with a bit of gameplay so we're not left wondering how they got to portion of story.

I would say maybe watch a video explaining the story of god of war trilogy of greek games and maybe you could react to that as well because the thing is the older games are very video-gamey and the focus wasn’t on the story. Now they’re like playable movies. I know there will be people that disagree but I think you’d be better off just watching an explanation of the original games and start with god of war from 2018. While at the same time the older games are also probably much shorter I think you guys will get far more out of the newer ones and I believe anyone telling you to start on the older ones is only saying so because they want you to get all the context, which you can get elsewhere.

I think if you're playing Grand Theft Auto and God of War, I'd like it if it was all four of you guys playing, even if it means some of you aren't playing for the first time bc the dynamic of the videos is most fun when all of you guys are here. I know schedules probably wouldn't allow for that to be a thing but it would be nice bc after all, we watch these videos more for you guys than the actual content y'all are reacting to! Also FYI Mr Oak, 'tonto' in Spanish is used as "stupid/dumb/idiot" so maybe that's why you couldn't name your horse that🙆🏻‍♂️

You guys should stick to this game for a while. That's what gaming is, mastering a game. If there's a game that has enough content it's RDR2. You guys will know the meaning replay value. Also, don't be shy about starting your online journey. It's so much fun and you could always go and stay in defensive mode, which keeps other gamers from bullying you.

If you're doing God of War, you should start with 1 if you want the full experience. Although no needed, GoW4 feels much better and makes a lot more sense if you played the previous 3. Alternatively, you could react to a cinematic cut of the first 3 games, there are a couple decent ones around here at KZfaq

Oak If You Practice So Much You Better Be A Master At Dead Eye Next Play Through, It’s So Easy And You Guys Make It Seem like Rocket Science, Just Practice On Birds If You Have To. You Guys Need To Learn How To Slow The Game Down A Lil Bit And Not Rush Every Gun Fight, Be Creative, Use Arrows, Molotov’s, Dynamite, Different Guns, Shotguns. I know a lot of comments wanted yall to jump right into GOW 2018 but y’all have to at least play the og trilogy cause originals are short, 2018 is a sequel and is elevated because of the originals and knowing the story of Kratos, and one can say it’s a story about… Family!!🫡😂, which will be missed if you start with 2018 so don’t do it to yall selves.
