Another red flag is someone who has a history of abuse, and I mean like physical abuse its most likely to happen in your relationship with them

Another red flag is failing to listen to what your partner says and always wanting thing's to go your way.
@HlobeezHive2 жыл бұрын
Love bombing is also a huge red flag that we don't notice. If someone is flooding you with compliments and just moving too quickly . When someone is digging into your past in just weeks of hooking up or they are just head over heels even before they know your Surname 👀 it may seem honest and cute but sometimes it's just a person trying to be your go to person so you feel like you don't need anyone else. You end up isolated and then when they mistreat you, you have no one to confide in because this person was just constantly wanting to spend time with you because you so "incredible" when in actual fact they just luring you in to get you to a point where by they can manipulate you and get you to ultimately depend on them for emotional stability

It's hilarious how Mpoomy truly believed that she wasn't a red flag till she realized that she is a low-key full-on stalker lmao...then she laughed herself silly. 🤣🤣🤣 I love these two's content man!
@thembimabaso23362 жыл бұрын
I get Branden's point...Just leaving because of a red flag can have you having a hard time going forward in terms of relationships because you left because of just that...This goes now to communication...It is important to talk to thr person about that thing that you don't like so much that when you leave you know you definitely were not in the right place...Then moving forward regardless of the other good they had knowing that that one thing that was super important to you...That would give you security for instance in a relationship wa not met...Communication really is important...Ego must be put aside...So that when you leave someone you know for sure it wasn't for you
@ruthkamwi_youtube2 жыл бұрын
Agree with what Mpoomy said, that we don’t have to go through some experiences to learn the hard way. Just heed other’s experiences. The hurt that comes with learning the hard way can be quite traumatic. Also agree with what Brendan said about being quick to forgive. Holding onto anger is not worth it and can prove to be dangerous. Lovely, informative and timely discourse ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Personally, ghosting is a defense mechanism. It's toxic, in the context of a relationship, but it's hard to relinquish ones peace for confrontation. Especially when communication styles clash.

It always fascinates me how in these modern times people hardly take responsibility for their relationships falling apart. Its always pointing fingers at the next party instead of reflecting and self correcting to become a better human being.

I agree with Mpoomy at the end. Some experiences are not necessary. We can do without honestly.

Missed our faves!!!!! Thank you for this. My therapist said to me recently that I need to learn to love myself so much that I want and get to accept the best. If I want the best for myself, I will not overlook the red flags, I won’t sacrifice getting the best just bc it’s not available to me (in the present). Still a tough pill to swallow but I believe that we need to do more self love and nurturing to our gardens so that we get to a point where we are like “ahh no, this isn’t good enough for me. I want more, I need more and I deserve more”

Also, I think it's important for us to highlight that this happens in friendships as well. Majority of the red flags on the list, I have experienced with a closest friend and it can break you so much you'd end up not seeing yourself good enough for relationships aswell. Yho I actually wish I could tell the whole story hey. But yeah, life is connected. Allowing mistreatment in friendships easily opens room for you to allow it in relationships as well, at work, everywhere. We should not only be careful of red flags in romantic relationships, but in every kind of relationship. I love you Mpoomy and Brenden. Some of my best days are from conversating with you. 🙏🏽✨

Mpoomy is right. Its like when a person comes to you with third degree burns and says look, please; don't play with fire its really harmful. Then you decide to say well, I get you but i want to experience it myself.Only a fool learns from his mistakes, a wise person learns from the mistakes of others ~Otto Von Bismarck~ I loved the part where Brenden Praise was talking about listing down your needs so that both of you won't have to seek for external validation. So powerful and wise.

Amen on the forgiveness part Brenden, I’m definitely a forgiving person however I’ve come to realize that forgiveness quite easy but forgetting is really a challenge cos can I honestly say I’ve fully forgiven you but I still bring up what you did when given the chance?
