hi Nathan, I know you haven't got this tank anymore but when you removed the filter sock did you do anything to get rid of the micro bubbles? Ive just took mine out and seem to be getting quite a few

No bubbles for me bud, how long has tank been running? Skimmer can release some excess bubbles for first month or so

@@nathanqwerty1 it was a second hand tank I bought, the skimmer never really put bubbles into the tank for me, i think it might just be the water falling into the rear sump through the filter sock holder causing them

Yeah could be, raise the water level in rear sump a bit

Had my Duncan 6 month had 5 heads grow but tentacles are short and stubby, possible cause?

Not sure, must of been happy to start growing the new heads then maybe the tank parameters are not stable?

Nathan Willard tank was defo stable for more than four month moved it to my 170 now so hopefully it perks up

Thank you bud, Red Sea coral pro salt, running alk-12dkh. Calcium-500. Magnesium-1500. Nitrate-0.5-2ppm. Po4- 0-0.01. Feed reef roids 2x per week.

@@nathanqwerty1 Cheers, running very close to that at Alk 11 5, Calcium 450 and Magnesium 1350. No3 is 2ppt. Using same salt. Only a tri colour bubble tip and some CUC in there at the moment. First fish to follow tomorrow.
