For any one watching this video Mr. Linnell is one of the best people to walk the earth. A true gent in every sense of the word and someone who I spent many, many days shooting with when we were young. I love him like family and it means the world to me that he would comment on my video.

Interesting Video, just picked up a Reximex Ixia , really impressive quality, just needed a barrel clean! Great air rifle at £650 and accurate. Trigger needs work but ok, still trying pellets for sweet spot!

I've just seen an exact same rifle, you could not tell them apart, except for the different stock colour, it's completely carbon fibre and it's the Cricket 2 Tactical, the bottle is slightly smaller and carbon as well, it's £1795! The Cricket 2 in Carbon fibre, which has a carbon fibre bipod hidden in the stock is the same price as above.

Chris, what's the difference between the Brocock Bantam Sniper HR and this rifle? They look the same, but would love to know what the difference is, a reply would be much appreciated fella, cheers.

You going to try that new brocock that is really small? (I Don't remember the exact name of it). It looks on the very edge of illegal lol. I'd like to see a review because I might get it because it's very compact and will be good in a hide.

I have the Redwolf and Sniper XR laminate, both great guns. The Sniper used the old 10 shot mag which did clip/shave occasionally, but shoots much better with the Elemental Objects aftermarket 13 shot mag. My Brocock doesn’t seem to be too pellet fussy, shoots most pellets pretty well from h+n to JSB. Keep up the good work!

Chris, I've never heard of a "semi-bullpup". It looks like a carbine length rifle. Also, what changed the grouping on the right target? I was ready to lay my money down when you were shooting the left target. But, then... :(

The splatter targets should not be trusted. There is a 'haloing' that happens that makes the paint fall and the grouping seem bigger than it is. Think about it... Those groups were shot right after one another. Also, you have a bigger room for error as you are trying to hit a slightly bigger bull.

@@southwestshooters Since I'm not onsite, I can only tell you what I see on my display and what I see is that the group on the right is ~1cm C-T-C (holes, only - not splatter). However, I still think the Brocock line of guns is amazing and Baker has a couple that I'm looking at.

I checked the forum regarding people's opinion on both sniper xr and wildcat, wildcat seems to be winning the vote, however I'm yet to see a bad review of the xr. What's your opinion on comparison between these two?

I think I'm not the best person to ask for a completely neutral opinion on this matter. I'm a member of the Daystate ASP, but I've also been quite vocal about my issues with FX guns. I actually refuse to feature guns I can't use, and I've had several come through that I couldn't group, were poorly built and simply not up to the job. I'd pick a brocock any day of the week.... They have all been superb and I have enjoyed using them massively. However, I suggest that using them both yourself would be the best option. If there is anything else I can help with please let me know.

Thats my go too gun for popping the odd rat / squirrel in the garden , as well as taking down the range .. looks sexier with carbon bottle , and your groups WILL tighten with the right pellet .. still not my most accurate rifle though .. but is one of my favourites too shoot ... good shooting though Chris

Brocock as come on since daystate as been involved, but you can get a good cheap airgun that will shoot just as good as this for little money, i have a old fx2000 177 and a fx cyclone 22 that will match them groups with the right pellet, lovely gun nice review but too much money for me.

still got springer accuracy then . so brocock havnt sorted the mags out ..seen better groups with hw 98s on here at 50 yards 30mm jeezuz its a shotgun 😂

@@southwestshooters woooow gutted i bought the first model laminated a few years back .. went throught a ton of pellets ..had my vortex ffp razor looked at .. it was the mags .. they claimed to have sorted them out .. well back to weihrauch 100 with 500cc carbon bottle 😃😃 if only everything were as reliabla as a weihrauch

Hi Chris. My Brock Bantam Sniper HR is nowhere near as accurate as the gun you've just used. Every magazine gives me a flyer and it's generally disappointing. Nowhere near as good as my HW100KT.

I’ve got the Sniper laminate, and was going to throw it in the bin, couldn’t find a pellet it liked, and then just by magic, found the pellet it liked. QYS Streamlined 8.95. The only problem is QYS are discontinuing them. Back to the drawing board
