Genuinely think the fart one was a bad take. She’s not asking him to never fart around her she’s asking him to not force a fart out on purpose when he’s touching her, which is a fair request. It would make me feel really gross if my boyfriend was forcing himself to fart while cuddling/hugging etc. Especially after I asked him not to. Just because he thinks it’s funny doesn’t mean he gets free rein to do it. She obviously does not think it’s funny. And it IS disrespectful to purposely do something to someone when you know they don’t like it and they’ve asked you not to. Not everyone likes farts. Not everyone thinks they’re funny. Her boyfriend DOES need to respect a clear boundary she set. Because, again, she’s not telling him he’s never allowed to fart, just that she doesn’t want him to force a fart out while touching her. Why is that weird?

28 years married and still going strong! - I am a stay at home wife, have been for about 18 years, we share a bank account, we share the money my husband makes (when I was working, we shared all the money then too), I pay the bills every month, buy the groceries, and anything else I want - within reason - we ALWAYS discuss big purchases with each other, no matter what. Ours is a 'traditional' marriage, it's the way WE like it. Some people today, prefer to keep separate accounts and keep their money separate, but those things should be discussed BEFORE GETTING MARRIED! If you both have different ideas about what a marriage should look like - You're not marrying the right person!

the 45-year-old man deleting photos post doesn't need more context. he sounds like he's manipulative, and he is gaslighting his girlfriend. yeah, she should break it off, but if it's an abusive relationship (which seems pretty much like he's controlling and doing things to hurt her on purpose- abuse), the situation isn't that simple.

The woman whose boyfriend continued to fart while holding her despite her asking him not to is right about feeling disrespected. She is not asking him not to fart or denying that people do fart. She just does not want to be in bed under covers with farts and she does not want to have him fart while she is being intimate with him. I think that is reasonable. The part that is disrespectful is that she set down a boundary and he is refusing to honor it and thinks it is funny.

Gotta say I think the 2nd story with the fart that the OP was kind of justified. Based on the description it seemed like the boyfriend can tell he is about to fart, farts on her, then laughs. All she asks is for him not to fart directly on her and do it to the side. She communicated and set a clear boundary that really isn’t that much to ask, face your butt not towards me when you fart, and her boundary wasn’t respected. Rubs me the wrong way when that stuff happens. She didn’t say never fart again just don’t fart on me.

they both don't answer too seriously here, I think if they would have taken their time to read more carefully they would have said the same. Also Guys immediatly feel attacked when woman say it's gross, it's hard to tell them to stop whatever they're doing bc their ego is so fragile. I also had a similar problem with a guy once, it's really hard sometimes to make men understand without hurting their ego immediatly.

Absolutely justified, not too much to ask. We all fart, we all know the difference in doing it on purpose and the fart escaping. Basically anyone can hold it in for the time it takes to turn away or even go to another room if you know it's a stinker. Also, long wet farts during sex, seriously?? Call this man The Orgasmic Cleaner because he decimates 99.99% of your potential orgasms. Not to mention the very scary possibility of sharting on your bed and loved one, like why would you even.

regarding the story about the girl who’s boyfriend spanks her when he’s mad (3:32): to put it in perspective, “spanking” (slapping/hitting) any other body part, especially in a fit of anger, would undeniably be considered abuse by any individual of healthy and sound mind, as well as by the law. my hunch says he’s spanking her because he wants to hit her elsewhere, but knows that doing it any other place would get him in trouble. however, he knows he can get away with it so long as he does it on her butt, because it can be undermined and passed off as “just a spank,” therefore she’s “making it a big deal.” he’s showing her that he’s entirely willing to hit + hurt her if she pisses him off enough, which is a clear sign of an abuser. i hope she leaves him before the hitting escalates. especially considering she’s brought it up and he just dismisses her concerns and feelings, he certainly doesn’t care that she feels hurt by it, because that’s exactly his goal, and he can and will go further if and when he ever feels he can without facing consequences. i hope she gets/got out of there and finds/found somewhere safe to go.

In the financial one, there is definitely missing info, but I don't necessarily agree with the "his money" yes he is the one that worked for it, but when you get married you become a we and your money is shared. I do agree that they need to sit down and have a conversation about the issue

I disgaree with the approach taken to the story around 24 minutes about the wife on the allowance... It could be an arrangement the couple agreed upon, but to me the situation has red flags of potential abuse or control. Someone very close to me right after getting married was given restrictions by her husband that she had to stay home, was not allowed to work, and did not have access to their finances. He also moved them around frequently so that she couldn't developed a solid support system anywhere, so when the physical abuse started no one saw it. There's not enough info in the story to tell if that's happening, but I feel like those red flags were pretty visible and should have been acknowledged

Hmm I feel like your opinions changed based on what Caleb was saying. The newly weds one, we dont know the situation. I did think thay maybe she needs to get a job but maybe she cant work or he tells her not to work. Then saying he earnt the money so its his money...ah no. When you are in a relationship, particularly a marriage, and possibly one where she cant work. Its like saying a new mum staying at home isnt earning money and the dad is "working hard" earning the money so its his money...ah no! If the situations were reversed itd be the exact same. Its their money because 1 cant work and you decided to be a team and certain situations cause one person in that couple to not work. I prefer watching videos with just you. I feel the exact same way. His answers rub me the wrong way and I’ve noticed his first instinct seems to be to question/discredit the OP while Kris has always been able to look at both sides and give actual advice. I also feel she bases her answers and reactions differently off his then when she’s alone. I love Kris! Just not a fan of the couple videos

19:30 - This is called gaslighting. the older man is trying to mess with OP's self-esteem and is also acting passive aggressive whenever she points out his weird behavior. Sociopaths do this to make their victim lose self-confidence. He took a picture of OP and then immediately called her down about how she looks in it. He then posts the picture of her even though she asked him to delete it. BTW, he recently stopped taking pics of OP and him together and all of a sudden used this pic to show he cares. That's a passive aggressive way to make OP the bad guy. I'm thinking he's already cheating and that's why he deleted all the pics of OP in the past. Now that OP complained about this pic, he just escalates and says that she's too controlling and he thinks they should break up. Sounds like he just was looking for a fight to break up so that she can't do it for him CHEATING on her.

My mom was a nurse before she married my dad and then he didn’t want her to work. He thought her job was in the house. She did have two sons and my dad had me and then after they were married my sister was born. Our house was always spotless, my mom got up around 0430 to cook my dad breakfast and pack his lunch before he went to work. Laundry was always kept up with and she would go to 2-3 grocery stores to get their deals. She always cooked meals from scratch and there were always baked goods available. We always had a garden, apple trees, a big pear tree, several pecan trees, peach trees, apricot trees, plum trees, and blackberry bushes so my mom canned stuff all the time. She was in charge of finances in our house. She’s the one who scrimped and saved all year so we were able to take great vacations every summer. Both my parents worked hard and my dad always acknowledged that mom worked hard in the home.

I disagree with the married couple and the wife allowance one. The agreement is what matters here. If the agreement is she stays home and does all the home duties while he works and provide financially, and he agrees to compensate her so she can do her duties in their partnership, and also have funds to spend on fun items, then that is the agreement made and should be kept. I do agree more info is needed but to assume she is being entitled right odd the bat because she's upset that their presumed agreement is not being met any longer, it's just not sitting well with me. Financial abuse happens in marriages and I'd be worried he's trying to cut her off to the point of abuse. Now that's an extreme and it might not even be happening, more context is needed to determine this. But that would be the first thing I'd worry about because statistically, financial abuse happens alot.

Oo also to sit here and say that keeping house isn't a job in of itself doesn't sit well to me either. It might be easier with only adults but like look up the average salary of housekeeping/maid services/personal chef, etc and that adds up to a pretty penny my friend regardless of how many people are in the household. 🤷‍♀️

Agreed! Him saying it’s “his money” gave me the ick. If they’ve agreed she stays at home for whatever reason and he goes to work that is THEIR money. They’re partners who I hope have agreed to the situation. Plus keeping a house properly clean is a lot of work and time. I know no one I know has time to like deep clean their house day to day and work a normal job. Plus she could be someone who like makes food from scratch and stuff which is a lot of time and work. plus plus, she could be disabled or something else that makes her unable to work and online jobs are NOT easy to find. I hate that he made fun of her and assumed she’s lazy and entitled

There's also the potential issue of coercive control to consider here. Restricting access to finance/giving someone a set and very limited budget can be a form of control. There's definitely two sides to this story so it's hard to call without having more information.

I agree with the fact that they need more context. One of the key things she said was that his job requires them to move a lot. To me, that means that they are not on the same page with how they need to arrange their living environment. She wants the freedom to spend in order to build up a stable and comfortable home. But if they are moving so much. Then, he may see that her spending is making it harder for their ability to move more effectively. She has more of a sit-and-stay mindset, but he has more of a nomadic mindset. She wants a comfortable setting. He wants utility and mobility. This is something they really needed to look at before getting married, but at this point, they really need to sit down and figure out what they can do to compromise on the matter. It mostly depends on him because it's his job that is causing the rift between their mindsets. Maybe he needs to consider a more permanent locatated job so she can actually create a comfortable environment that I know he would actually love to have. That way, he can feel more comfortable giving her that spending freedom without feeling like it's going to be a burden when or if they ever move again. All that being said, I don't agree with limiting her to only being able to spend money on food. She is a person too, and if he's the only one working, then he HAS to provide her with the allowance to spend some money for her own self enjoyment. Otherwise, she needs to find a part-time job and be firm with him that it's her money and she can spend it however she pleases.

It's definitely challenging to navigate relationships with differing views, but an open conversation is key. If they are not open to dialogue, it might be hard for the relationship to progress.

The one about the husband texting kinks to their employee… first of all, she said they own that business together, they have 9 kids, her first concern shouldn’t be the husband, it should be getting sued for se*ual harassment by this woman whose employer is texting inappropriate things to her, regardless of it being reciprocated, that’s could mean big legal trouble for this couple and they could ultimately lose their business. Aside from that, she said the girl was everything he hates (or claims to hate to his wife)… I think it’s those very things that has him opening up to the other woman. I think her free spiritedness allows him to express the kinks he hides from his clean cut wife. His wife is his “what I SHOULD do in life” & this other woman is “what I actually WANT to do in life”. Wife needs to recognize the huge red flags and run for the hills… that man is trouble & I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a whole secret life he’s hiding from her.

I see the farting one more as she set a boundary "please don't fart on me" and he crossed it and laughed at it. As far as we know they didn't have a conversation about if that's a reasonable request or not so if they did that's a different story (I personally think it's more than reasonable to ask not to be farted on). But I think it's more about him crossing a boundary she set rather than the act of farting itself. She didn't ask him never to just not on her. I agree with this sentiment; it's not okay to hold money over your partner's head. That sounds like a great way to isolate someone financially as opposed to having a conversation and coming to an agreement like adults. While this may not be this person's intent, it's not something that should be taken lightly. By NO MEANS am I saying that this is dv but there's an article called "Understanding the Financial Impact of Domestic Violence" from Forbes which I recently read for my psychology class. I had to stop the video to write this and I was amazed at what Caleb just said. Allowance to wife section You said it's not your money it's his. When you get married it is community money. She takes care of the home and you make it sound like it is nothing. What you should be saying is go get a job. Then you both can share the work load at home. Both pay towards the bills l, put to savings and have money to buy stuff for the home. Becareful Kris as he will rate you on what you make and not value the right way. This is a tell tale sign.

I went through the same exact thing from ages 15-17, about 3 months in he completely stopped posted and about a year later he posted a picture on a private story on Snapchat that he knew I didn’t like because he knew I was going to ask him to delete it, also so he could hide from anyone he was talking to. He cheated on me with 4 people that I know of at least.
