Here is my unpopular opinion: A lot of these bullying scandals and the "rectifying" actions are really about people projecting, people wanting revenge like this is some sort of teen comedy and folks acting self-righteous. The act of firing adults for the transgressions that occurred, when they were teenagers is just putting a band-aid on a bullet wound. It is just a temporary fix and a way for people to have minute satisfaction .

The STAYC thing is insane. J's voice is low when she's singing/rapping; it's not low in real life. There's no way they're bullying her for her low performance voice; it's affectionate teasing. Jeeze.

As far as STAYC, J is my bias and a lot of it has to do with her incredible stability at low register. The teasing is clearly the members being fans of it too. ITZY tunes are necessarily not too vocally demanding because of the demanding choreography. People don't seem to get that. NMixx is clearly not Lily and friends. Everyone of the members has a specific role, and all are very talented. ... time to listen to some IZ*one...

I honestly dont think the opinions about the facial expressions being too much are in the wrong or anything like that. Stage presence is something thats just preference. Like some dislike Idols who are not really showing facial expressions (for example Jun from Seventeen) there are some that find Idols showing rather extreme facial expressions too much (like San from Ateez). I love both types of performers and Seventeen and Ateez are my ults (I'd recommend their performances to anyone interested in stage predence) but I can definitely see why someone would think some expressions are "too much" or "stone like".

The whole talk around 3 English singles is so overused and lacks any analytical context to the groups artistry. Bts released 3 Japanese singles, a critically acclaimed pandemic album 'BE', had numerous official and unofficial releases, worked as sub units (eg. Stay Alive), had plenty of collabs ranging from mainstream to extreme niche music all easily upto 40+ tracks within just last 3 years. It appalls me how people call their take on bts based of on 3 eng singles and call it analysation on their music and style. They never had a style. And they never lost their artistic skills. Most of yall were just too quick to judge cause if anything, they repeatedly indicated that they were supposed to enlist with the end of mots 7 and it would be the close of first chapter so everything in the pandemic was unplanned and experimented. Infact it surprises me how it took them barely a few months to write and produce (even vocal line was involved thoroughly) for an unplanned album and to me (my opinion) this is one of their best written albums. The pen game in 'BE' hits so hard cause it's not easy to articulate the mind that well just based on a few months of your experiences.
