Brolin is SUCH an underrated actor. There was that period in the mid 2000's where he was in every movie as a supporting actor. And he killed half the people in the galaxy at one point.

Yeah. Apparently Brolin was a big fan of the original MIB. So it definitely helped that he was dedicated to the part, and he played his part brilliantly.

I don’t know if I’m the only one to notice this but even though K shows the least emotion, the parts where he does, in all 3 films, are very powerful, especially considering Roman. It’s very brief but you can tell he was pissed off by his colleague’s remark, and later he told J that Roman was his friend. That stood out to me. There were other parts in the previous films of course like those he lost, how much confidence he showed in J, and then in MIB3 you see what a father figure he played, however indirectly, and it speaks volumes

Anyone else notice that young K’s first words “We’ll take it from here” is also the first thing Tommy Lee Jones said in the first film? I swear I feel like they just looped in an unused dialogue track from that movie because Josh Brolin absolutely nails Tommy’s cadence

#3 is where they need to stop when it comes to making the men in back movies, because they broke mold with Jay and Jay..all 3 are iconic. Men in black 4 will be obsolete without the original characters..
