Sure, I'm white, and I'm Canadian, but I'm proud to say I've been an absolute Redman fanatic since 'Muddy Waters' (I was still a young teenager when it was released, so his earlier albums were before my time). To me, he sits on a throne next to 2pac, Biggie, Eminem, Wu-Tang, Method Man, and the other rap elite. I would buy any new album this rap God releases until I'm old and can't hear music anymore.

He had his time. In music, you only last for so long, and in hip hop alot of artists have long careers. Redman came out with Erick Sermon and was down with the Hit Squad. His solo career was big and then he teamed up with Method Man and blew up even more. He owns almost every song he´s featured on. He doesn´t fit with the mainstream hip hop that they´re producing now. Listening to this he references stuff from the 90s that younger folks don´t know about.
