If you're a KZfaqr, just remember...... extensive streaming and video exporting can heat the phone up but for extensive max graphics settings gaming.....it's amazing. I mean the Snapdragon 855 is like the next to the best chipset for mobile(the best being SD 865). So I'd recommend it 100% cuz I've been using it for 7 months and it's just amazing. :)

Mine was pretty bad too... Just like his. But after installing an OTA update it got way better! The camera earlier had a beauty setting in the form of levels... 0 to 6 I think and it was absolute shit. I was so disappointed. Now that's gone, now I have to choose each facial feature and use the slide to control the level... No overall level represented by numbers like earlier. Its pretty good now.

Someone else (who has dark skin) had the same problem. The issue, I'm pretty sure, is that the software is trying to lighten up his face. It's made by a Chinese company where people want white skin. You can see in the photo where his face is not the subject, if looks fine.

The problem with Xiaomi is their QA is shit. This is why they can sell device so cheap. So basically buyers are in for a Russian roulette. They calculated and its worth to just replace the parts if any customer complain, rather then invest a lot in testing like Samsung and Huawei.
