What type of foam do you use? I have an NS but haven’t found any foam that works well yet.

I agree 100%. With its sound and play ability, I use mine on record dates, studio demos and countless live shows since 2012. What foam do you use? Check out . Levin Bro’s cd. Tony plays it throughout. My buddy Jeff Siegal shares the date with Steve Gadd. The instruments range and emotion are unmatched.

have you tried setting up a condensor microphone in front of your NS destign bass, and then amplify the microphone? (instead of running the bass directly into the amp) I think it will give you a more acoustic sound
