Traveller Wedding in Dewsbury

4 ай бұрынThis is just a 2 minute video, as a little surprise for the couple, as I was really only shooting a few photos of their wedding ceremony and a few pics in the park. Happy memories, as the bride's sister was my first ever traveller bride 10 years ago, and now she and her husband have 3 lovely children.

I loved how the when the couple were walking down the stairs the groom was not holding onto his new wife he kept his hands in his pockets ha!! The music to this video was so lovely. Long may they be blessed and happy xx

Wow! I'm happy you like my choice of music, as I have to use copyright-free music or or gets blocked in many countries, so it's hard fir listeners who find it unfamiliar or not to their taste. I can only try what I think fits best from the available options, anyway.

I understand why you think that, but he had had his stag do the night before, so he wasn't exactly feeling his best. Note to other grooms to be, have your stag night earlier in the week, so that you have time to recover before your wedding day..

Is this in a court building. I’ve never seen one with wedding seating. In USA it is proper etiquette for males to remove hats in indoor settings such as churches, public buildings

It was in Dewsbury Town Hall. The register office used to be in a separate building, but a few years ago, they moved the registration service into the town hall. Its a very grand, 200 year old building, so beautiful for wedding photos.

@collnss Yes, it used to be customary here too, for men to remove their hats when entering any building, as a mark of respect, but no-one really bothers with that anymore here. It didn't even occur to me at the time, either!

Also, they always have seating for guests , in register offices.

Well he didn’t take his hands out of his pockets until they were walking in the park then he put them back oh he looked totally uninterested.

He's only 18, so it's more from being embarrassed and not knowing what to do, plus he'd had his stag do the night before, so wasn't exactly feeling up to much.
