5 жыл бұрынSo I managed to complete my Race for Life Race! It was such a fun day! I didn't really film much as I was enjoying being in the moment. Thank you to all that donated and supported me. Together we have raised a total of £263!! for Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK

Oops I just realised that when I'm saying that I jogged for 1mile then stopped and jogged a few then slowed down again I meant kilometers not miles 😂 otherwise that means I ran a 5mile race which is not the case it was only 5km which is about 3miles lol! just clearing that up

Good for you, Reeno! Use 'em while you've got 'em. 😀 I've just lost about 70-80% use of one of my legs so I'll never be able to run again, but that's OK... I can still ride a bike! 👍 🏍

Brilliant well done for managing to do it. Was a great cause to raise for. Wonder how much business that ice cream man at the end would of got had he sold bags of ice for the runners to use on there muscles haha

@@rickychase18 I may have messed up the measurements haha the race was 5km so I think the sign posts I ran past where like 1km not 1mile 😂 otherwise I would have ran 5miles!

Congratulations and well done I can barely run up the stairs ha ha ha. On a second note how much was it to do ur A2 as some say it's hundreds of pounds and I went on the gov website and its nowhere near that nearer to like 20-30 quid for mod1 and 80 for the mod2 and I can get training for about 80 90 quid a day so 2 days training for each mod plus the test(s) its no where near 6 or 700 quid so I'm just confused, is there something I'm missing out on?

Yes, the test doesn't cost too much its the training that does you have to do about 3 days of training if I remeber correctly and your tests. Ttraining is what costs the most money but its bloody good. If I remeber correctly in total I think mine cost like 500? I remeber it was a months wage at my old part time job 😂 once you've done the training if you fail the test and don't wanna do another day's training you can just pay to redo the test. But then I feel it depends on how that day went and if you feel like you need more training or not. I do have a video play list on my A2 journey, take a look at some of the later videos and I might even mention it there. I Hope this answers your Question

@@Reenomeano thank you it does help as I was wondering where the costs come from and someone on spicys fb group said something along the lines that the training center can help with booking the test(s) so the times match and thus it comes as a pack rather than trying to book lessons to match with a test slot, and also doing the package means for a bit more money u can borrow the instructors which will be cheaper than buying and insuring a bike if u can get insurance that is.

@@benl7070 yes exactly that :) 100% that's what I did :) I didn't have my big bike when I passed my test, I still had my 125 so I continued to ride that without L plates until I had saved enough money for a big bike :)

All the race for life reminds me of now is a work colleague trying to make himself money ☹️ He actually listed on EBay his supposed girlfriends underwear which she did the run in, only he used a pretty girls photo from google images and allegedly wore the knickers himself at work just to get them sweaty 😳😳😳 It makes me gag just typing this 😳😳 Well done on your ace achievement 😀👍
