Is there a stain under the pre cat you are spraying on the vintage Ethan Allen maple furniture? I have a couple dressers I want to redo and not sure if I need stain or just the lacquer. Thanks

after i strip and sand the piece , then i seal it ,after the sealer drys ,i sand the piece with a fine 3m pad then we shade the piece to color ,

Why not mineral spirits?

mineral spirits don,t cut lacquer or any type of finish on furniture ,acetone or lacquer thinner will
