I like the way this channel is going it’s not just about shooting and accessorizing it’s about history and preservation of the gun and it’s parts and this video shows that the way he talks and explains is outstanding Chris did my wasr and it’s amazing almost too pretty to shoot I firmly believe this is just a start of what’s to come something I am looking forward to is maybe a video of the history of the AK makes and models I know there are a ton but would be fascinating to watch just by the way he gets excited about it

Awesome tutorial, thanks for taking the time to really show and explain the process. My 'fair' condition romanian set (with dong grip!!) was pretty rough but looks brand new now. I also did the bleaching step after stripping and a diluted iodine soak before stain, turned out to be a really unique color.

Nice work. Both sets look great. Can't decide which I like better.😻

Followed this video (watched it 20 times LOL). My $89 fair condition APEX gun parts Romanian Dong set came out like new on my brand new WASR that came with dirt cheap poly furniture. Thanks.

Thank you for this video as I was wanting to put some kind of finish on my wasr furniture which is just bare wood.

Both finishes look great! I may have to buy another Wasr so I can add the dark brown to complement my amber one. Great work! Subscribed.

In auto body (industry I used to work in) we used “tack cloth” after sanding to remove dust and other nasties. Tack cloth is available at any auto parts store for a couple bucks.

Thanks for the tutorial again. I used about four coats of the Amber but didn't apply any wax. It looks great better than it was before.

This is incredible work! Thank you! What color stain did you use for the red?

Great video. I've been collecting AK part's Kit's and AK furniture now for the last 25 year's. I have several de milled AK with the original finish and the one thing I can't understand is why some people add the Rit red dye thinking the originals were that dark a red. The originals I have seem to just be coated in shellac with no stain added. Personally I prefer to keep my builds as close to original as I can.

Amazing video! Quick question, I have a set of wood and I love the color of it. But it has a matte/satin finish. I’d like a shiny shellac look. Would I have to do anything to the wood or could I shellac over top without anything prior done? Thanks!
