Refugees in Canada: From Far and Wide: Common Ground

When Paul Waldner went to his father, the leader of the Green Acres Hutterite Colony, asking if they should sponsor a Syrian family, the answer required no pause. He was told the Hutterites, themselves once refugees, thrived through the generosity of others. Shortly after, a family of four from Hama arrived.
From coast to coast, Canadians continue to show an outpouring of support for Syrian refugees. By housing them and including them as members of the community, they create powerful, if unlikely, bonds of friendship. From Far and Wide profiles the diverse group stepping up to welcome these families, unbound by geography or language.

That's..not true. We hutterites are so quick to turn away refugees and even other people who need our help. In good times it's easy to turn away other people in need, and forget we were once like that too.

There are communities in regional Victoria Australia and Queensland who have adopted refugees, and it’s been a hugely successful project.

Actually they work very hard. For over 50 years Muslims have been coming here. They are not a problem. They start businesses and employ fellow Canadians. Even learning ways to enjoy our lengthy winters.

The Hutterites are descended from a very small gene pool, they only have about 14 surnames. They are all related to each other.

I need a lawyer to file, with other disabled citizens of Ukraine, a lawsuit against Norway. My husband, a Ukrainian (oil worker, human rights activist) became disabled as a result of his defense of the rights of other people (Norwegian and Russian media for 9 years). My husband fought corruption in the Russian oil giant, which was headed by the founder of the 6th Directorate of the FSB and the ex-Chancellor of Germany. My husband defended the rights of disabled people and Ukrainians in Norway against Russian-speaking citizens of this NATO country. The Norwegians took my disabled husband to Moscow AFTER: anti-war pickets of my husband in the Russian Federation, his defense of the rights of Ukrainians in Norway, the issuance of documents to my husband by the Norwegian Red Cross for his close relatives (Polish servicemen repressed by the Russians), sentencing his defender to prison (in married to a citizen of Finland for 25 years) in Belarus, who reported the crime of the Norwegians against the Ukrainians and was recognized as a Political prisoner. My husband and his lawyer warned the Norwegians about the coming war, but they did not believe him. The husband was kidnapped and the war began. And after the war began, the Norwegians do NOT admit their mistakes! Unlike the Swedes, the Norwegians DO NOT LIKE to admit their mistakes even when the Chechen refugees deported by the Norwegians were killed in the Russian Federation (Norwegian media).hfrhdd

I'm all for refugee's... as long as they obide by OUR laws.... the balaclava thing,, REQUIRED to take it off for photo id. they complain its theyre religion... the one's who wear turbins on there head are now trying to change OUR laws about HELMUT REQUIRED on a motorcycle.. they complain its theyre religion... so. dont get a photo id.. and dont wear a helmut... you get arrested with no id YOUR FAULT.. you crack your skull open cuz you failed to wear a helmut? YOUR FAULT, no medicare for you.

When travelling in Israel in 2015 our Christian Palestinian guide from Nazareth told us how a village nearby had taken in Palestininan Muslim refugees from Jaffa after the 1967 war out of Christian charity. 40 yrs. later the Christians had all left. They were displaced due to a 9+ Muslims to 2 Christians birth ratio within 2 generations. That's what the UNHCR has as its agenda for all Western style democracies and Canada, too!
