You just helped me repair my lock!! Mine was also reversed. It has been since we bought the house 30 years ago. Thank you!!!

Your cinematography is nice--the lock is actually a work of art.

That’s a wonderful old lock, they don’t build them like that anymore. Great info. I really like the video & the close up pictures, through out the video. Have a great day.

Great video. Always nice to see old lock designs. We do not have anything like that here

Thanks for showing the inside of that lock. It looks pretty good, pretty clean, for an antique.

Nice lock there! Great pics, so many well fit parts... And wow only 15 minutes! lol 👍 Can I just say; props to the customer who brought this to you. I've seen far too many, bag-o-parts jobs. - Where someone just figured, "This'll be easy to do myself", then everything jumps out of the lock body.

That’s a really Clean Lock. I can’t believe it was in use very long. Usually there all kinds of cobwebs, dead bugs, broken springs, dirt, died grease etc. That one looks like it’s brand new.

Beautiful old lock, it’s like a work of art and so awesome that you can zero right in on exactly what needs to be changed. This was great, thanks for sharing 😊 Also really liked the flying-in photo cards (I’m sure there’s some fancy video term for them but that’s what I’m calling them :). Don’t know if those were much work to out in the video but it was a great effect with the music!

What are those little push buttons for? Just another way to lock it?
@selock Жыл бұрын
Push buttons in almost all mortise locks, lock the outside handle so you have to use a key to open it

Great video -- rehanding by flipping the hub is not intuitive. It would've taken my hours of staring at it to figure that out... probably by trying to change the button levers or something. Nice work.
