Sri Lanka's Majestic Jungle King, the Wild Elephant. All animals, except for the domesticated species like cats and dogs, should have the freedom to live and roam in their natural habitats. Thank goodness this beautiful boy was released into a safe location without any harm. Congratulations to those who undertook the task. A safer method should be used to release the ropes around its legs without causing any injury to his majesty, Sri Lanka's national heritage. I just love these gentle giants. May they survive in their natural habitat for eternity.

This is a beautiful national park specially for birds there are plenty of migratory birds here from all over.

Great job relocating and releasing the elephant! Thank you! I would request a safer method to remove the ropes from around the elephant's legs. The way it was being done, the dagger could have landed on the elephant's leg instead of the rope, and injured her.

There are lot more elephants used in temples. They are tortured by owners. Plz release them too

The men appear to have a very healthy respect for this big beautiful boy. Wonderful to see him start a new - and hopefully - happy life!
