I'm considering getting one of your .22 LR reloading kits. I recently bought some of your repriming kits. I used it to recharge some small pistol primers. I followed the very simple instructions, and got excellent results - not a single misfire out of 250 rounds. Any home DIY kit which gives such results is a wise investment.

I'm curious as to how long it took you to load 250 rounds?

I don’t know... I think I’d rather pass a kidney stone then go through all that trouble to reload 22 LR.

Why is it that when everyone starts a product like this, they jack the price up as if to get of of the red in the first couple of sales? A successful product starts at not a cheap price, but a reasonable price, and the following of purchases is how success is attained. Starting at high prices only works with a limited good, or a "pre-order" kind of market, where the demand is already invested in your goods. Very interesting kit though. I shared it with all that I know, even though I made my own mini .22 lr reloading kit (rim former, press, dies, priming, bullet swage for lead wire, and a crude balance scale) using a $60 mini drill press, and a $60 welder. I don't cut into your business, but I sell my kits locally [only] for $75. Takes me about 1.5 hours to make each kit, investing $6 in consumables (metal, screws, nuts) and I still made up my investment in the first couple of sales. Quality did not suffer much either. I get about a 0.5" group out of a rem 513-t iron at 25 yards.

Would you ship the kit I would definitely buy one from you
@DaveSmith-cp5kj2 жыл бұрын
@@syrfuzed131 Post your email so I can save it and get back to you. The kits aren't made anymore because a caseless 22 repeater rifle is in the works. We have firing models, we just haven't made it reliable/safe enough yet.

$75?... $20 would be a really good deal. I'd gladly pay $25 as well. If they'd up the quality, start making more than 3 of them at a time, and advertize more; then this wouldn't be a novelty/gimmick.

Why would you want to reload something as cheap as .22 lr??? I can understand reloading large center fire cartridges but .22? seems like a lot of work to save pittence.
@cobaltace629 жыл бұрын
When 50 rounds of .22lr goes for $21 and change when 500 rounds used to cost $11, it is not a pittance anymore. I can't shoot competitively anymore because I can't get .22lr. I had no choice but to sell my Hi Standard supermatic citation because of the dick weeds that horde it for the zombie squirrel apocalypse. The gun is no good without ammo

522SDHV Well, I don't know where you live, but seven gun shops have none. Walmart gets maybe 4 to 7 boxes a month. By the time I get there, the .22 is gone. Online, I only see the south american .22 ammo that fouls up my Ruger and is very expensive to ship as ammo is not light. So let me know where you live and I may drive there. It is cheaper for me to shoot 9mm than .22

? My thinking is with some Bullseye powder you can with a strong revolver be shooting 22 magnum power with reloaded 22 lr like the 22 ILARCO.Anybody give it a shot?
@denisecookson42712 жыл бұрын
In the reloading data that comes with the tool it lists two powders that are faster than Bullseye. The problem probably will not be with the gun but the brass splitting in the chamber.
@TheNickathome7 жыл бұрын
Too labor intensive and the rewards are few. IMO not worth the price of the kit to attempt to reload .22. You'd be better off with a small caliber muzzle loader.

I know those bullets were cold where you cut the sprue . First dumb thing you should NEVER let the castings completely cool off .it's hard on the sprue cutter and could produce a damaged bullet base .a inferior bullet base will affect accuracy. Second dumb thing . Did you ever stop to think that someone who has never casts bullets before might also hold on to the bullets he just cast with his bare hands as you did ? 3rd dumb thing pyrodex IS NOT BLACK POWER !

I see you are using Pyrodex and calling it black powder. FYI, Pyrodex is not black powder, it's a black powder substitute. Black powder would make a mess out of a rifle, possible but not desirable if there are other choices.
@DonziGT2309 жыл бұрын
Pyrodex is messy and corrosive as well. It's also harder to ignite than real black powder.
