Michael Wright was excellent, but as we have known for a long time, there is only a limited amount of Hollywood slots for Black excellence. Another star that will never be appreciated for his excellence in terms of Oscar nominations is Omar Epps, Mike Epps, Harry Lennix, and once nominated for best supporting actor, Terrence Howard. Hell, we're just happy they keep jobs. Mr. Wright was a dynamo on stage. One can't take away from Leon, or a y member of that FiveHeatbeats cast. And Townsend clearly was a great director who will never really get director credit at that highest level.
