Thank you for this. I think krs is selfish when it comes to his group members, other members passed and he never said nothing, it's always about him, sad. Ms. Melodie is a beautiful soul.

I don't understand why a person of mixed parentage is automatically black. Seems like they can be whichever they like. Just confusing to me.

Thank you so much for this. Didn't realise they were as old as they were, RIP all of you. Native new yorker is one of my favourites of all time. .. the disco genre banning by US radio stations was a disgrace, so many talented artists sacrificed for what..?

Stop calling it black on black crime. It’s called fratricide and every ethnic/racial group commits fratricide not just Black people. Secondly, fratricide is not the # 1 cause of death for any ppl, black ppl no exceptions. Heart disease is. After that cancer, unintentional death, diabetes etc Homicide is way down the list homie. Get your facts straight….

Ann Miler was stunningly beautiful and talented. Keep in mind that her taps, and those of Rogers, Powell and Hayworth were all dubbed afterwards. In Miller's autobio is a picture of her dubbing the taps, wearing shin protectors.

I pray that Singer O'Bryan is working on making a comeback. He's been blessed to overcome Bell's Palsey disease, during the COVID era 🙏🏽 God is good he looks great. I'm hoping that he will. Rework and refresh his team around him. To help him expand and develop new ideas these days. Independent ways of getting music to the masses. Is the way to go. The music industry is in crisis these days. Artists should never be put into boxes ever. Nor should they have to sell their soul to be on top. Let me be clear I am NOT saying that he ever sold out. So calm down. Too many read what you want to see. I feel that O'Bryan still has a lot to offer. As we age and this thing called life. Does it's part too. It's alright to rework old ideas and melodies. Blessings to all. 🙏🏽

Most blacks admire educated black men, ever since Fredrick Douglas, but what they don't like are spies, like Clarence Thomas, being used to sabotage the gains of time, because of his revengeful pride, and ego. The action of this individual is a constant threat to the pursuit of any minority's happiness.

I have a brown skin color and I am satisfied with my skin color and I have no interest in skin color. I work out 4 times a week in the gym and I eat healthy fresh food because health is more important than skin color.

Go date a dark skin single mother and tell me how that will work out for you lol. No man wants a masculine black woman who ain't going to follow his lead. It's my way or the highway and attraction isn't a choice. These women have no father figure in their life and don't respect the men in their own community than when they have kids by another man they accept another man who doesn't have kids ro take care of their kids. You got me ****** up if you think I'm going to take care of another man's kids you damn right I don't date dark skin black women. If she ain't light she ain't right. I have so many reasons why I don't date black women I'm not even going to get into details as to why. But fyi idc what you or anyone thinks, I don't need your respect or support.
@blacklyfe688111 күн бұрын
It's called racial preference get over it lighter is better I like what I like I don't find dark skin women attractive and if that bothers you than go f* yourself 😭😭😭🤣 I'm not dark I'm 🤷🏾♂️ not self hate if most men feel the same way. I'ma go get myself a white/non black women because they are superior, feminine, submissive and respected. I go where I'm appreciated not where I'm tolerated. Idgaf about your opinion or your respect and I don't owe you an explanation you're just mad and bitter because your children will come out darker than you 😂. Being light skin is associated with femininity and dark skin is associated with masculinity. I love my white/latina/non black women.

To the mom: you thought allowing your husband to father his own grandchildren is more tolerable for your children to endure than the "threat" of death? If my father was doing that to me, I'd prefer death, i think, than having to live that way. Kills the spirit, the mind, and the heart. Death was not a huge risk, lady.

Just when I had started listening to more of Angela Bofill's songs after her unfortunate passing...and then I see her amazing skills as a perussionist! WOW! You should check out her appearance on the Johnny Carson show in 1979. She sang, "I Try" and it's a vocal masterpiece! She breaks out SENSATIONAL "scat singing" that would make Ella Fitzgerald and Natalie Cole proud! WHAT?! There was no vocal element she couldn't do! I'm even more in AWE of Angela Bofill! Her voice, so sultry, magical and a 3 1/2 octave range! Ironically, I saw Angela Bofill's episode of "Unsung" on June 23rd for the first time. I did a Google search, hoping to read good news about her recovery from two strokes and was saddened when I found out she passed away on June 13th. My heart goes out to the Bofill family. Angela, "Your next home will be even sweeter!" Rest in Heaven, Angela! Your spirit, silky voice and musical legacy lives on! 🙏🏾💕♬🎤🥁♬

Thank you for producing and posting this video - there are a few names I was not aware of! I started watching skating back in the 1980s so I got to see Debi Thomas. When you do the next video on Black Figure Skaters please include Andrea Gardiner, Derek Delmore, both singles skaters, and there were two black male skaters who competed with white female partners, one pair USA, one pair Germany. Keep up the good work!
