The first year of the V8 engines, the engines were running close to 20,000 rpm which in bonkers. FIA sooon reduced the limit to 18,000rpm

Compare the sound of this to any modern F1 cars... Omg the sound is so much better in this video... I miss the sound of a V10 singing at 10000RPM, even tho these are V8s.. the sound over today's F1 cars is so different

Ferrari and Renault had the best sounds. Fck why they got rid of this! This is F1 in the purest state. Now we have cars that sound like a toy. Its so sad. Fck the “hybrid era” we want this back!

They look more dynamic than the 2018vid. Is this just the filming or do the 2018 cars carry more corner speed so we see less acceleration and breaking, or something?

combination of the tv camera shots being a bit shit for giving you a sense of speed and the insane stability and grip that the new cars have.

the last one was a v10, toro rosso had the only v10 engine in 2006

These engines rev as high as they can go.2006 is the only year the v8 engines sounded like this.2007 onwards they restricted the engines.

Liked, F1 should have made diverse engines from the beginning and not just one type of engine per season but V6 V8 V8 and V12 like it was in the 90s and in car racing, what's the problem?!?!
