Ruairi is a mad man, but he's 100% geniune. Also, the accent is not fake. If anything, he's slowing it down a bit here. I live not far from where he's from and even know people with thicker accents.

Ive been to alot of auctions in America. Until I heard this man speak I had never made the connection that the way our auctioneers conduct their bidding came from the Irish/Scottish manner of speaking. The way he spoke, the cadence and delivery is a slowed down version of auctioneering. The Irish and Scottish immigrants brought this to us. Amazing

@@TheeEnglishKnightyes it's funny that. Scotland also seems to get a pass on slavery despite the proliferation of Scottish surnames in the Caribbean. It's all historical revisionism of course. The Scots were very prominent in both the industrial revolution and in Empire.

It's not really that hard, though, and I've spent most of my life in Australia. He's easier to understand than someone from Liverpool, I reckon, and those people aren't unintelligible either. It's Geordies and people from Glasgow that I really struggle with.

I'm from Limerick. I met a truck driver from the countryside in Ulster at a supermarket. One day he may as well have been speaking cantonese. I had no idea what the man was saying. Ruairi is like sir lawrence olivier in comparison.😂
