I hate throwing away consumer electronics when their batteries fail so naturally when my Remington MB200 trimmer batteries failed I decided to replace them.
Taking the unit apart require a couple tricks because the unit is obviously not designed to be opened by the end user but that wasn't enough to stop me.
in this video I provide the "tricks" you'll need to open the case and gain access to the batteries. I replaced the NiCD units with much higher capacity NiMH parts and expect the triimmer to remain in service for a long time.
