Today we are removing permanent marker, sharpie from any wooden surface, Whether it is Finished, Painted or Laminated. Tried the first option, vinegar and baking soda, and it WORKED! Yay! My daughter accidentally got sharpie on my husband's new desk while coloring birthday cards and this saved us for sure! Took several minutes of scrubbing gently so keep scrubbing until you see it slowly disappear. The video shows it disappearing quickly but that doesn't happen if the marker has been there for a few days, so be patient...it does work! Thanks!

Using nail polish remover can damage your table finish so I wouldn’t recommend it

The vinegar and baking soda method didn't remove the finish from my husband's new desk...other methods may though, especially nail polish remover.

That did not work for me at all, it was in a painted wall, what did work for me was 99% alcohol and baking soda. It had been on the wall over a yr, so had to work very hard to remove it, ended up taking off the paint too😡
