Great work Jake. You are a master. Quick question - are there any official or unofficial sources/databases to find out how the internal access might look for each model - or are you just reliant on personal experience and/or just stripping the panel trims and seeing what you find?

Only 4 minutes in, but I think you definitely made the right choice. I’d definitely want to access the dent even if I started with a little glue pull first. A couple of aggressive or misplaced taps on the crown or around the body line and it won’t be as clean without a sharp tip picking at them. Basically to glue pull that dent and finish it, it would take too much time being so careful with every tap. Might as well at least find a way to slide something to it.
@1st_track_dents
@1st_track_dents 3 жыл бұрын
Totally agree, It was quite tight to push up so glue pulling would have really struggled. Glue can be great, but yes it can take so long to do. I've spent an hour before trying to pull a dent with glue making slow progress, only then to find out that I did have access behind after all, then I push it up in about 5 minutes!

@@1st_track_dents hey just called me on the phone: they told me that the paint has been removed, literally "the paint is left in his hand". It means that instead of working with the levers like you do, they worked faster with pad and glue. And of course it's more beneficial to them because in the end the job will cost me triple and they'll work half the time. And I'm sure the end result will never be comparable to one of your repairs done without repainting. I imagined it would end like this. Anyway, good job and congratulations again for your interventions which are miraculous
