I feel like there would be such a market for a hair stylist who advertised that she didn't want to chat! I hate the chit chat with a stranger part of getting my hair done. I'm currently having a friend do my hair because it's so much less awkward.

I had found ur channel when u chopped ur hair into a pixie and then shaved it and u showing ur confidence and excitement about chopping ur hair gave me the confidence to cut mine into a pixie (which I had been wanted for years but wasn’t confident as I was afraid what people would say) but now I love my hair and just wanted to say thank u for share your story :)

I dislike going to the salon because I don’t want to chat, I tend to over share or say awkward stuff. I had a fantastic stylist years ago who I became friends with but she moved across the country and I couldn’t follow her that far. So now when I need I go to a hair school, they are more concentrated on doing well rather than chit chat. They get the experience, I get a less expensive service and I know that the teacher isn’t going to let me leave with a bad cut.

Seriously Stella I would love you to do my hair. I get my roots foiled once every 6 months at a salon and then I direct dye it myself. I am never comfortable in the salon and feel pressured to talk to the stylist but I generally stay quiet. My stylist is amazing and she says she loves my visits because she knows she doesn't have to talk to me and keep up the "stylist persona" and can have a break from all the small talk. It's a win win. We do a quick check in at the start and then are generally silent whilst I process 😂

I loved when you shaved your head, I shaved my head just before Covid hit and I loved it. I felt that when you did it, your personality started to really show, we started to see who you were as a person because you didn’t have hair to “hide” behind anymore.

Back in 2013 I had 18inch micro keratin bonds put in my shoulder length hair I won them , and for the most part I enjoyed them , but they were so heavy. I had to travel far to get them done and I wasnt prepared to travel that distance again or to pay for them to be removed. So I bought some special pliers too and my mother did half and then my late father did the rest bless him he sat there for ages doing it. I brushed my hair out after and there was so much hair. I did a deep conditioning treatment afterwards and my hair and head felt so much better. Luckily now being in menopause my hair grows so fast that its down to my chest almost. So I would never have them again. My hair isnt as thick as it used to be and it is naturally curly. Back when i had the extensions i was straightening my hair , and did for a fair few years. I've been embracing my natural curls now for almost 4 years and I couldn't be happier as my hair is the healthiest its been for a long time. ❤

I always put conditioner on my scalp because otherwise I get dry skin and itchy a lot faster. Though I do use a silicone free conditioner

20:45 Very nice how you explain the hair.👍 I learned the complete function and everything about hair in my job training (which sounds funny, it was 2 years of school 5 days a week and 5-8 hours each day, so training is not the right translation) and so I was mind blown to learn about hair colour. I am a colour virgin, so for years and years I didn't bother to use my knowledge. Also I learned so much more other stuff about the body head to toe, newborn to senior and everything around medication😅 I really had my focus elsewhere. Finding your channel started my interest in everything a hair salon has to offer. Maybe I'll try it sometime...as a carrier I mean

please please please make sure whatever manufacturer you choose, make sure the contract includes that you can keep the formulation, I've seen several people get screwed down the road because they go to change manufacturers and they either can't get the formula or they have to pay an exorbitant amount of money to get it

Is the next brush going to be more gentle on hair? I love the current brush, but I do think it’s a little more abrasive than I’d prefer as a breakage prone curly girl. I don’t want to use it on wet hair and always pre-detangle to be safe. Would love a brush where I can use it for everything!

My biggest complaint about the extensions is how “piece-y” they looked. Which I guess is attributed to the hair texture that was used and not the way they were installed

Can you make a video of how to do all the different types of braids and how to make them look like yours. Also which braids look best with certain lengths of hair. Could you make a product that couls help making braids easier. On another note can you make extensions. Can you make your own hair dye collection? You say you’ve never had an allergic reaction to any hair products, I never did until I tried Lanza products, it caused my scalp to be itchy and dry.. I think it would be interesting to see you try out their products and somewhat review them

You're probably going to answer this through the video, and I'm just starting it... Does your hair absorb any of the keratin in the extension bond? So far as I understand, keratin is good for hair health, yes? Also, I loved seeing what you did with your buzzed hair. It always looked so good! If I didn't have weird bumps at the base of my skull, I'd consider shaving my head. You made it seem so freeing and fun. Truly ( ◜‿◝ )♡

I wish I could find more hair accessories that don't damage your hair, like hair pins and sticks or clips that don't break - and for short hair! So many hair accessories are too much for short hair.

I love Stella, but more brushes? Is it only a brush brand? I’m not sure if the best move to drum up hype for the next launch was another brush… :/ imagine if she launched the wigs, then a wig brush or something??
