Lennie's a kind, simple, strong man, who sometimes hurts animals that he pets by accident, because he doesn't know his own strength. At one point he crushes a mouse (rodent). He's a character in the book "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck, which is considered a literary classic. Now read Ren's lines again... "...you are just a rodent and this is Mice and Men. Crushing skulls like I'm Lennie..." Just brilliant! :)

Ren was very clever with how he went about this and there was no way dotta could respond or it would have made him look like a complete fool ,he knocked dotta out then lifted him up sending renagades to his channel to listen to his music and give him a chance to hear what he was about ,all eyes were now on dotta and if he would have come back at ren all those new eyes on him would have disappeared ,dotta knew had new listeners to his music and his views and numbers were going up because of what ren did at the end of this diss so the only thing he could do was take the loss but also by doing so win ,GREAT REACTION AS ALWAYS RESPECT FROM THE UK

Dotta said out loud he was done with Ren after this. He said he had respect because Ren came with something you can't come back on. He basically conceded defeat. Another cool thing Ren did is low key call out his fans who were saying Dotta was trash.

I loved how Ren did this. Showed he could battle with the best of them and then flipped it to stay true to himself and his message of positivity. The best part was there was an interview with Dotta the day Ren released this and Dotta actually ate red velvet cake for breakfast that day 😂. Great reaction and thoughts, guys. On Hip-Hop being exclusively Black culture: The main roots are there and always will be, but I grew up on oldschool electro and witnessed how it grew and morphed into early Hip-Hop. From the beginning the scene explored and heavily sampled every cultures music. I think that's why it went so global so quickly. It was new and fresh and seemed like it could go anywhere. And it did. So from conception, Hip-Hop was built on the foundations of what could be described as magpie music, and I mean that in the most positive sense. It explored and had creative fun with all types of music from all cultures. The same can be said for Graffiti art being inspired by historical wall paintings and specific lettering styles from other cultures, and B-Boys taking elements from specific tribal dances and adding their own creative flair to them; and even turntablism (Kool Herc) riffing off the idea of European experimental sound artists that played (no pun) with the idea of manipulating records to create unique and interesting new sounds.

The line about “Crushing skulls like I’m Lenny, tales of Jenny again.” Lenny is a character from the book “of mice and men.” Lenny was severely mentally handicapped and super strong and accidentally killed a puppy with his barehands because it wouldn’t stop barking and biting at him.

Ren is a genius with a big heart. That was awesome. Much love to everyone, no matter who you are, what colour you are, you stand next to me, then you be my brother or sister what ever you be, you be my sister but from a different mister. Love is free to give and a smile could change someones life because we're all going through tough times. That smile, or just saying hello to someone you make eye contact with, just might make that person not cry themselves to sleep or jump off the bridge. If we want a better world it starts with us. First off, I’m from the Bronx as well. Born at Westchester Square Hospital way back in 1958! I have to say that I enjoy watching the two of you do reactions, especially Ren’s. Great analysis and Bri exudes joy and beauty. (No, no. I’m not thinking Beauty and the Beast 🤣🤣). Seriously though, I’ve gone back through your catalog and I also enjoyed your solo reactions to some hard rock and metal. I found some of your breakdowns very insightful, especially for a first listen. So many more can be done from those genres and it would be great to see Bri’s reaction to Led Zeppelin (especially Robert Plant🤣) and other bands. Keep up the great work. Bro I’ve never in my 45 years seen a battle rap where someone was killed with kindness….. to this day I don’t think we’ve heard anything from dotta

This was an agreed on battle between Ren and Dotta. The catalyst to this is when Knox Hill Dropped his Killshot Remix. In it there was the line that was like Yatta doda or something like that. Michell Show kinda spawned the misunderstanding by giving it the notion of dissing Dotta. Dotta had been trying to get a battle rap with Knox and several others for a while. So Dotta then releases Crown(Knox Hill Diss). Knox has no idea about this or who he even is. This annoys dotta. And he spergs out about Knox dissing him then wont respond to his diss. Ren saw this and decided to poke the bear (as he sad in a live stream) because he knew that Dotta would respond to it and challenge him. As expected. So Ren agrees to do a battle rap, saying to drop whenever he was ready, but did ask for it to be after Murderer dropped as it was already scheduled and he didn't want to detract from it or people to think Ren wouldn't respond to Dotta. Part of the "terms" for the battle was to do it in one take, Dotta misunderstood this to mean no editing. But also said he cant do it without his lyrics, and asks if he could at least use his phone for them. Ren had actually meant just to go at it as he had done in a core battle rap style. Dotta did agree to wait and after Murderer came out he did drop Kingdom Come(Ren Diss). In this Dotta couldn't help but double down and toss more shots at Knox. Knox and Ren have gotten close and this finally got his attention so Knox fired back. He released Stan remix(Knox Hill Diss). He had said that he had wanted to do a track with the beat for a while and this was a good chance to do it and show off his skills with battle, he came from battle rap originally. Then 24 hours later with no reply from dotta he drops a second track, Patiently Waiting, which was on the beat that Dotta used in his Crown track, before he switched up the beat in the middle. Ren had been delayed to respond to him due to his doctor and medical situation. To Dottas credit, he was fine with that, understanding and wasn't going to hold his delay against him, saying he was more about the bars then the quick response(part of why he wasn't going to respond to Knox right away, he needs time to write, has not exactly quick with his pen it would seem.) Finally Ren was able to respond and drops his video for Dumb King Come(King Dotta Diss). One of the best parts to me is that Dotta said he cracked up when Ren had got to the line about putting the cake down, as he had said he in fact had had cake for breakfast that morning. After this drops, Dotta says hes not going to respond to Ren and they were cool(I mean how could you respond after that. But that he was not done with Knox and he did drop like 3 or 4 tracks as disses at Knox, but Knox was done with it. Knox had shown what he can do with battle rap but its not what he wants to do. He liked to follow Ren's approach of building people up rather then destroy. Ren follows the idea of A Rising Tide Lifts All Ships. In dottas tracks, he had some bars, but he was nowhere near the level of Knox or Ren, and stood no chance in my opinion. But this was fun to see Ren expanding his skills in even more directions! Final note, Michell Show is a hater and he does remain true to his style. I don't care for him much. But I will say he has given props to Ren in this, and his reaction to Rens diss when the shots at him come up are great. Best part in it all. But he has said he has no real issues with Ren. He actually has dropped a track called White Room Freestyle. Where he was going after some others, but in it he did take a slight shot at Ren, but admitted himself that it was light, he could have done harder but there was no need as they were cool and had talked some behind the scenes. I love the way this had gone and thus why i followed it closely. I would love to do a video that actually layed out the entire situation, but i don't know how right now, and don't have time right now to actually learn the video editing stuff, but maybe someday I can. For now, i can just try to correct/inform people on what actually was going on with the sides.
